Does anyone know about a price increase in Europe?
If you read a few pages back, someone said there won't be a price increase till spring.... Yay! [emoji1]

So, when I posted here on August 7th I predicted there would be a further price increase this year in Canada of between 5 and 10% as LV tried to provide consistent pricing worldwide by taking into account currency exchange rates...and I was correct (at least partially anyway).
Some items ( the pochette Metis and the mini pochette accessories) did not increase in price from the latest summer increases)
Some items are around a 7% increase from the summer price increase and others around 3%.
But from the beginning of the year some items like the Eva are up 27% in Canada - mostly due to the falling dollar I think.
If we look at Speedy B 30 it is now listed on the Canadian website as $1640CND (about $1234US) if you look at the U.S. Website it's listed for$1390 USD... So technically base price still cheaper in Canada.
If you look at the Eva it's now listed for $990CND (about $745US) on the Canadian website, on the U.S. Website it's listed for $775US. So again technically base price is cheaper in Canada.
I hate to say it, but I think there may be further price increases in Canada again this year in mid December. The only way there wouldn't be is if LV is taking average retail tax rates which are set at provincial/ state level and is satisfied with minor discrepancies because of this...I don't know how sophisticated they're trying to be with their global pricing concept.
I'm definitely going to move up my purchase date of the Speedy B 30 from 01-2016 to 11-2015 to avoid another increase.

My apologies...you are correct...I swear it was not listed at $2050 when I checked last week. ...or I had one too many glasses of wine lol.
I also heard of a price increase in Europe in November...
E.g. the Pochette Métis shall be 1380,- ; now it is 1240,-
Also, I heard that LV will stop producing the Modell Pochette Métis soon...
Had anybody heard something similar??
My SA said as of yesterday in the US that he hasn't heard of any price increases yet.
Discontinuing the Metis pochette & hobo really? Wow, I thought they were both great sellers.
I know, it's so surprising huh! This is only something I heard here, not straight from my SA, so we can hope it's not true. There has definitely been talk though in both clubhouses.
It is weird because the Pochette Métis is e.g. in Germany not available. In other European countries, e.g. Switzerland it is.
But I heard from several sides that LV want to stop producing this model. May be they will design a new/ similar one ???

In Europe we had already 2 this year so I wonder if LV will increase again in October/ November this year?
