That's not true. People need to open their eyes when they are getting screwed over. If LV is going to raise prices don't put prices out there. That's called FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. Would you pay more if you called the water company and they told you your bill was one price and then when you get the bill it's another price? You better believe you would call and complain. Same aspect here folks!!!!!
LV will continue to do things like this if people are going to make excuses for the company and not make a stand. Just so you know I have multiple LV bags, SGLs, bracelets, etc.

I'm not talking about going into the store and looking at the look book. I pre-ordered via LV customer service and not once did the associate on the phone say there is a chance that the price may be different. That's what I have a problem with. That's not good practice to deceive over the phone. To me it seems like LV purposely waited to raise the price before it was even released for 1 day. Another thing - why did some stores in the U. S. sell the pochette back in June or July and customers were able to buy what little stock was accidentally sent to stores ahead of time for $875. If you look at the earlier versions of the pochette the clasps are different. If they were an honorable company they would stand behind the price quoted or at least tell customers upfront. LV is definitely going downhill!!!!

I agree with you. It's not fair that you pre-ordered and they didn't mention the price may change and wouldn't send it to you earlier. Do you mind me asking when you placed the pre-order? Do you have consumer protection authorities (like we do in UK/Europe) to complain to? I would definitely write to them to raise this issue as I would be furious. It's not like LV are going to make a loss selling for $50 less...

I pre-ordered on Oct. 13th.

They should honour the old price you reserved at. I reserved an item in a store and they honoured it without any hesitations when the item came in with a price increase. I think they test the waters with some items and based on popularity/demand they increase their price. Canada has seen 3 price increases already (the theory is our falling dollar is the reason). I believe US has seen price increase only on some items (popular ones) like the Adele wallet. This is a great time for LV cross border shoppers from the U.S. so come on over! :) Even with taxes, we're still cheaper than current U.S. prices.

Maybe it's just my imagination but when I was just on the lv website a lot of the bags prices were increased drastically, most by like 4/500.00... Then I refreshed the pag and the lower prices were back, I'm not sure if that means a price increase is happening tonight or if it was just a computer glitch... Does anyone have info?

LV have price increase ever 2-3 x in the year. So I think your wish didn't come true. So sorry.

The U.S actually hasn't had a price increase in a year I think! I know we were supposed to have one earlier this spring but I don't think that happened. I could be wrong but a lot of pieces look the same price. So I'm sure there will be one soon.

I called my Customer service, i went over some of the prices I saw and she said I must have changed locations on accident on my computer... Which I did but when I was telling her the price of the Montaigne went up 500 dollars her response was "that's weird my book shows it going up only 300.00" so I'm not sure if I should take that as a sign or not.. 😁
