The Ponthieu went up $200 Cdn today. Unbelievable. That's a $300 increase just in 2020 so far. I'm shocked.

You’re right, I’m tired of this BS also. But truth is, no one is really deterred by these price increases. We complain, but We still buy all this crap. LV or Chanel, I still want what I want and will buy What I want despite the unreasonable increases. Then I justify it by saying, “if I don’t buy it right now, it will just be more expensive next year...so dammed if I do, dammed if I don’t”
So Vuitton makes face masks and surgical gowns for health care workers as a philanthropic effort and then raises prices on their products again. Are the consumers are the ones who actually paid for this then? Just a thought....

Happened to me as well. I am pissed. Will take some time to get over it and find pleasure in the pretty things again.
But hey .... over in the Chanel Forum they are discussing the 17% (!!!) increase on 11th May .... wtf?! I was planning to buy my first Chanel this year in fall... ah- no thanks! There are other fashion houses which don't raise prices ridiculously whenever they want to or at least have a stable increasing schedule .........

I agree, a large portion of people won’t care but many will, especially with the financial impact. Many will just be forced out of the opportunity and many will also realize for them the cost is greater than the benefit. For me personally, I won’t buy a mini for 4K. It already seemed ridiculous to me at 3500. What it means is that I don’t love it that much and that’s okay, others still love it at that price, nothing wrong with that. I want to buy what I love and buy it when I want to buy it, not when I’m allowed to or forced to.
No, all I know Noe bb is not new release. I paid $1270 before price increase for Noe bb. Noe bb is $1340 now. So sad, a 5.5% increase in such a short time...
But the biggest BS of all: the PA in mono is now more expensive than the PA in DA. In Canada the PA mono is now 825$ and the PA DA is 745$. Just before the Christmas increase, they were both 685$, then after Christmas they were 705$. This to me seems like a reasonable increase. But now, 825$ and 745$... that’s a crazy hike and worse: different prices for mono vs other canvas? Will we be seeing more of this?
So Strange, in Germany PA in mono is still 410 €, no change. Whereas PA in DA increased to 435 €. I dont get the increase for DA, especially when in some countries the price relation seem to be reverse.
