This color reminds me of the lagoon color that Longchamp had last year. I have no resistance to a beautiful blue green.

I will be interested to hear your opinion and what you think and whether you are keeping. The brightness of the color on canvas caught me a little off-guard. But the lining is totally gorgeous. I am going to sleep on it. For now, at least, I am not worrying about missing out.

Do you mind posting a picture of the pochette? I know I have seen it elsewhere before, but I am not sure what I remember exactly...

For anyone who is on the fence about the turquoise V, I highly highly recommend you go see it in person. It really is stunning and like no other color I've seen from LV before. For whatever reason, the color does not photograph right. The pics I took make it look too blue and the pics the last person posted have it looking too green. I just wouldn't want anyone to miss out based on these pics. Even if you are on the fence, I always say better to go see it and then decide it's not for you than to pass on it, and regret it once it's sold out. Just my 2 cents:)

I completely agree that the color is difficult to photograph and to describe. Just be prepared for the brightness factor- it is quite bold. I do really like it. In any case, I do not think they will gather dust on the shelf or in the drawers.

Yes me neither. I found out from my SA when I was looking to see if the Insolite was still available in the Christmas LE. Such a pretty pink and I'm loving the style of the Insolite. This was $850 + tax. It came to about $904 where I'm at.

They had 1 ramages pochette on display and a few of the wallets with epi/mono ramages. The one ramages NF they had sold when the store opened today. No ramages speedy.


I did not see a lot of action near the ltd. pieces- most of the foot traffic was dispersed. So imo, it is seems mostly collectors who buy these pieces. As a side note, I was asking the SA which she prefered- the v or mon mono NF since they are similar. She said she likes the mon mono better but the v is better for resale. Little surprised to hear her admit that!


In terms of demand, looking at PR's and waitlist in the computer, the ramages is a little more in demand. I am down for speedy and cosmetic to see but may decline.

Wow! That is so surprising. I heard the complete opposite. I had actually pre-ordered every piece from both the V and Ramage back in December just to be sure I did not miss out. On Thursday I checked to see the status and we actually looked up how many preorders there were. On that day there were just over 300 preorders on the turquoise NF and 220ish on the grenade NF. The V speedy was just over 100. The Ramage NF and speedy were not even close. I talked to a friend in corporate just yesterday and they are swamped with requests for the V collection, but not so much for the Ramage. If you call customer service, it was taking much longer to get through yesterday and if you mentioned the V collection they would tell you how crazy it is. When I asked about the Ramage, at first he did not say anything. I asked him again and he said not much interest.


Beverly Hills use to be my store so I am going to have to call and see what is going on. I got all of my graffiti items from there and the pink keepall is still my favorite. Those I have not been able to part with except for the pink zippy wallet. However, my daughter has not returned my pink speedy either!


I am glad you saw the Ramage Keepall and liked it. That is the piece I am going to try. After seeing the Ramage NF, Speedy and cosmetic pouch, I decided to pass for now, but still may consider as they are really fun. The zippy and pochette had not come in yet. On the V, I am getting every item except the insolite and possibly pochette. I have not seen the pochette yet.


Now you have me interested in what the preorder numbers are this week. I will have to call and let them know what you have heard. Thanks for the information. It is always helpful to see what everyone else is finding out.

Why do the numbers matter?? Does that make one better than the other?
Everyone should get what they love not what is winning on the sales and preorder numbers..
But I guess some times people want what everyone else has I guess..

I didn't say the numbers mattered. I was just providing information that I received. I actually wanted to find out what number I was in line fyi. I responded to a previous post that contradicted information that I received, and found that interesting.

Does that make one better than the other? You tell me. Pretty ignorant question directed at me. Do you think you have more freedom of speech than me because you have more posts on the purse forum??

Isn't the purse forum for people to share information???

I think it is a given that everyone should get what they love and, of course, there are always those that want what is most popular and hard to get.
