My SA just scored me a nf in turquoise again.... So I have the turq neverfull charm and cosmetic pouch coming next week. She really is such a wonderful SA.... I keep going back to her even though I have moved away to another state.

It is good to have an SA you can go to when there are ltd pieces. It also helps to have a track record of purchases- online seems to have a stash reserved or with limited access in some cases where items are high-demand.

I bought the same exact pieces- going to Rodeo this pm to p/u NF and cosmetic + bag charm winging their way from TX.

So is it true that they won't produce more? Is there a set quantity and once out its out forever? Given the hype it has right now, Lv would be stupid not to produce more right?
Yup- I asked at least 3 different people and they all said the same- seasonal, one shot- once gone, no more. But sometimes, they will re-buy. But don't count on it.

It actually is very smart of LV to keep product limited and demand high so that they do not have excess inventory. Also whets customers' appetite for ltd.ed. in the future.

There is a cosmetic and a bag charm in turq v @ NM Dallas. I have the same being shipped. These pieces are extremely limited and lv.com/us is swamped with calls for the collection. I think demand has waaay exceeded expectation. I am done with what I want for summer 2015.

The frustration of customers is part of the marketing strategy. People feel like it's rare so they rush. They also have the impression that they are "privileged" to be able to purchase.

The same rush happened with the Ikat collection and after the initial amount sold it was replenished for months after the March launch. I bought my Ikat Neverfull in August after watching the same frenzy ensue in March. I'm getting a V Neverfull and keychain but I won't be flipping out to get it. I bet this collection will be available through the summer.

Are you also a neverfull lover? How many do you have?

I keep telling myself that I don't need this v neverfull. And I have two mm already. But I guess I gave in the temptation.... Neverfull is the most practical bag for me from Lv.

Yes, I am. I'm justifying this one by saying I don't have anything turquoise or a Neverfull MM. I have the Ikat GM and two Epi Neverfulls. I only like monogram when it has color on it. So this is right up my alley.

Can't wait to see them!

I have an epi neverfull too! Also a mon mono neverfull mm. I don't have any plain monogram pieces either (other than key cles).

I really can't justify myself (especially to hubby, cause I already bought soooo much this month) other than saying that this would be a great investment piece - print doesn't rub off, coveted collection, limited quantity, can wear for some years and then sell. But in my heart I know I want it so I am getting it and there is no guarantee that I would ever sell it....

Thats what I was thinking too. Thats what seems to have happened last year with the Ikat Neverfulls.

I loved the ikat prints and was worried about low qauntity so i had reservations made in advance with my SA. I actually got both the rose velour and rose indien the day they were released. Much as it was fun being one of the first to have both bags, i was more concerned about availabilty. But by mid summer they were available in all the boutiques.

Maybe this years limited supply will be different - time will tell.

Yes, this is part of the LV mystique and a brilliant marketing ploy. Unfortunately, even though I know better, I still surrender to the allure of the ltd. pieces <sigh>.

I so need a stay at Betty Ford for my LV addiction!

I just picked up the turq v NF and for those looking, there were at least 2 unclaimed turq v NF's and several pink NF's at Rodeo. There is one turq v bag charm and one pink v cosmetic. No pink v speedys. I prefer the turq- you see the LV mono pattern better in the turq vs. the pink. The LV pattern sort of fades away into the pink color canvas but it is really nice if you like pink. The turq is brighter than expected against the canvas, to me at least. The lining is a beautiful and fresh shade of turq. Do wish there had been a v on the pochette.

They had 1 ramages pochette on display and a few of the wallets with epi/mono ramages. The one ramages NF they had sold when the store opened today. No ramages speedy.

I did not see a lot of action near the ltd. pieces- most of the foot traffic was dispersed. So imo, it is seems mostly collectors who buy these pieces. As a side note, I was asking the SA which she prefered- the v or mon mono NF since they are similar. She said she likes the mon mono better but the v is better for resale. Little surprised to hear her admit that!

In terms of demand, looking at PR's and waitlist in the computer, the ramages is a little more in demand. I am down for speedy and cosmetic to see but may decline.

That is my field report- pics of turq v NF to follow.
