Brief update - I lost all self-control (@wildwest81 looking at you 😆🤓👜) and I ordered the mono mini bumbag this morning! I will see how it feels and works for me, and then when the blue/yellow drops I will know whether or not to order and which I like better.

In all seriousness, thanks to you and everyone that is so helpful. I will add my own experience once it shows up hopefully tomorrow!! it’s now order in preparation that means it should ship today. Can’t wait, and tomorrow I will be stalking UPS from my own home 🤣🤣🤣

I say self control is overrated! I kept telling myself not to buy that cute speedy 20 in the pistache damier and last night I couldn’t stand it anymore and bought it 🤣

Yay - good for you! That’s a great speedy 20. How exciting, can’t wait to see yours. I have a mono 20 and a Nanogram pink leather 20. Love both of them when I need to carry more. I will hopefully have good news to report on my bumbag tomorrow!

Is the mini bumbag comfortable to wear ? How do you normally wear it? I’ve seen it over the shoulder and cross body..

It’s very easy to wear!! I usually wear my navy one shoulder carry and wear my mono crossbody as I use a Metis or other long strap with my mono. I don’t have a long navy strap so I tend to shoulder carry only with it. But the strap that comes with it can be used crossbody.
I just like crossbody wear to be longer hence a different strap. If I was traveling with it I may prefer the original strap to keep it up closer 😊
I love the mini bumbag and it fits into my busy life really well. I don’t have young kiddos anymore so I’m only carrying my own stuff. I grab the minis more than any other bags for daily errands.
Here is my mono worn both ways as I grabbed it this morning for a coffee/post office run 😊

You look great!!! Love your bumbag - and the PM strap looks really good with it. I will be trying my PM strap as well, and my longer treated vachetta straps, and the strap that comes with bag with the chain attached to make a longer strap. As I will only wear crossbody I need a longer strap. Now your pics have made me more anxious to stalk UPS tomorrow!!! 🤎 thanks for sharing all of your pics and helpful information!!

I’ve seen some wear it more across their chest like a sling bag, and some wear it as a bumbag. It looks great any way people choose to wear it. I’m partial to crossbody as certain shoulder bags slide off my shoulder for some reason.

Nothing ever falls out, the way it’s made sits very close to your body and doesn’t tip forward or shift ever. It’s very flat on the backside so it is close contact on the back of the bag. The top opens up completely and is very secure, so getting in and out is easy. It’s a brilliant design in my opinion 😊

I used the original vachetta strap the other day with it and wore it up a little higher and I didn’t mind it but like you I prefer a longer crossbody strap 😊 The chain it comes with is nice and thick too!
There really are so many options with this bag, and we all have 100 straps to choose from 🤣

Glad to hear the chain is nice and thick, and not like a felicie pochette shoulder chain. Yes, we do have lot of straps usually!!
Love your post about use/security etc. I am very excited. Sometimes my UPS guy arrives by 10:30 if I’ve done overnight shipping, which I did. Usually by 2:30. Sorry your guy arrives so late! I got to know my driver some during Covid - and do you know he actually got stuck between 2 fallen trees several streets over during a huge thunderstorm, and he still delivered my bag one day last year because he didn’t want me to have to wait. He’s very kind to me, and fun to talk with. I’m glad I’m closer to the middle of the route - they are very detailed in how they route - they minimize left turns and have all sorts of other rules for efficiency and fuel usage. It’s pretty wild - but I wish I was the first house on the route 🤣 Madame Impatience!!

I so wish my ups would come early, waiting is torture when I know something good is coming. I have my warehouse and office for work on my property so I usually have a few deliveries a day. And I live in the middle of nowhere so I’m usually last 🤣

Is that the strap from the pochette Métis ? Hmm..mine doesn’t have vachetta belt rings…did they change it recently?

This strap I grabbed today is not from my PM and honestly I’m not sure which bag it actually went to but i believe it’s one of my Bandouliere straps . I just have my straps on belt racks so I can grab them. I like the vachetta tabs so I grabbed it 😂

I received my monogram mini bum bag today. If only they had done some quality control on it! Like @wildwest81, I love this little bag. It fits all I need (including my promax14 with case @LVlvoe_bug), zipper is perfectly smooth, chain is great, I have lots of straps that will work. But it could not be more crooked and look worse than if someone tried on purpose to screw it up!! I attached several pics, I’m now boxing it up and going to UPS directly for a refund.

Now I just have to decide if it’s worth the risk on one of the blue and yellow leather ones. I’m pretty sure that’s the one I would prefer. I do get tired of quality issues as I know we all do. I wish Louis Vuitton would actually do what they say they do and check their products carefully before they send them out the door!! If I had tried this on in the Boutique, I would’ve laughed and not walked out with it. It not only looks crooked, but it is also truly crooked. It’s a 1/4 inch off at the top, it appears the zipper wasn’t sewn in evenly so it will never straighten out.

I guess in summary, the blue and yellow one is a strong maybe 🙄 I might have kept this one too had it been perfect, especially as it is $600 less than the blue one. And @wildwest81, your little bag is perfect in every way so it seems they can do it right!! Oh well. I figured I had a 50/50 shot!!
