I need some advice…. I’ve been hemming and hawing over this bag for about 6 months. I vowed not to buy anymore monogram items, but only like the bumbag in the mono print. Thinking of purchasing it since I am currently in Japan on holidays and will be a little cheaper here. The bag is a tad small for my daily items; however, if I do buy this bag, I can make do. Is it really worth the price tag? To note, I have seen the bag in person on different occasions and have also put my stuff inside. I have also considered it in empriente, but is only available in black at this location. I have too many black bags so this color option is out.

There is no other bag on my radar and part of me doesn’t want to waste this opportunity to purchase something a little cheaper than back in the US. To all the mini bumbag owners, is it worth it? Are you still loving yours?

How much cheaper is it? I’m currently on vacation and have it with me, using it every night and also used it for travelling through the airport to store passports in.

I love it, no regrets

Yup, it is still my most-used bag, even after 15 months of owning it! I’m not even a fan of LV’s monogram — this is the only mono bag I own or have ever really considered — but for whatever reason, I adore the mono on this bag. I have zero regrets and would purchase it again in a heartbeat … it is the perfect size IMHO, so versatile, and fun to accessorize with different chains and charms! Like many here on tPF, I collect bags but this is genuinely the only one from any brand that has caught my interest since it launched … with the exception of a couple of Marc Jacobs totes for travel, I haven’t bought another bag since purchasing my mini bumbag last June … nothing since then has made my heart sing! Good luck making your decision; enjoy the rest of your trip!

Still love mine. In fact I love the bag so much I bought it in denim and have been using that as my summer bag. I will say it’s small. Ie died up buying the Atlantis BB because I wanted a bag in between the mini and PSM bags. So now I have options. I use my mini bum bags around my waist without the gold chain. Can’t wait to break out the mono once fall hits in the PNW.

I’ve been using my Lululemon Essentials sling bag while I’m here and it fits everything I need on a daily basis, to include a small sanitizer spray, my phone, my retainer case, passport etc. it actually holds more than I thought and to be honest am afraid to downsize. lol.

I’ve been on a Loewe kick the past few years and have been loving my understated Flamencos, using both the small and mini sizes, that it will be hard to begin using a monogram bag. I do think monogram looks great with causal outfits which is why I want it as a daily throw around bag. Love that you are loving yours.

Saw the denim in store as well. Now that is a cute bag! Enjoy using her.

Good morning all, hope you had a wonderful Christmas..decided to cross post on my recent post on trying 2 different LV bag straps with the mini bum bag which I purchased recently in the LV store at Sogo Yokohama (with excellent service and saving AUD$500 from current AU RP buying tax free). Im about 165cm / 5 ft 4...it definitely helped me as I assumed the MPA strap would actually be the perfect strap...Hope this helps anyone..
