I do think it makes sense that majority of brands are making masks and now this shield. Masks are becoming such a major part of people's wardrobes and many brands are using that to create more aesthetically pleasing options as people use their masks as fashion accessories. Not saying I would buy this, I won't, but it seems like we will be seeing more of this.

I like the Burberry one. I think if LV's were a mask and not a shield it would have been more appealing. Personally I think the shields look like they belong on a welder. I don't think I would invest that amount of $ in either though. I am hoping this mask thing won't be around long enough to justify the investment. Before I get flamed for that comment, yes I do wear a mask where I'm supposed to

I think people would get on waitlists for a mask from LV versus a shield. I like the Burberry one too

No way, I’d be embarrassed to wear this. Also to the designer houses who make these, I feel it is in such poor taste to try to make money off a pandemic that has killed thousands. A discreet logo on a cloth mask, fine. This? Shame on you.

Exactly, masks SHOULDNT be fashion accessories. If and when you wear one, make sure IT WORKS! It’s a safety feature to protect others as well as yourself (eg surgical masks, N95 and or the likes).

Face shields do not protect you when someone by you might cough or sneeze. Potentially be a host to the virus if they sneeze or cough nearby.

But it seem LV knows there will be people ready to buy this!

No, just no. Yuck! Plus face shields are ineffective to curb the spread of CoVID 19, or any other airborne illness. Useless and ugly!! I do like the Burberry one and appreciate that 20% of the proceeds are donated.
