I'm so excited, visiting Hawaii this year!! I've been many years ago but have forgotten a lot. Mind if I ask for tips on best places for food (all cuisines especially local, Japanese, Asian anything, Latin American) , best beaches, can you hire Rollerblades and bikes there, do you tip in cash or is card accepted there.. anywhere unsafe to avoid, the best walks and nature places , daytrips.. I have never been to Diamond Head and will certainly go! @brnicutie saw your trolley post in the other thread last week and that was great to know about!

Gonna make sure I visit LV there too! Do I take the US website price list and add local tax to the total, is that how it works? How much would I expect to add on top?

Thanks so much everyone! Mahalo

Yay! I'm so happy that you're going to visit. I'll give you my CA's info so you can ask him about the prices. It's different from the mainland. It's about 10% less here in Hawaii and the tax is 4.7%. I'll message you.

10% lesser than main US states is quite a good deal!! I wonder how they calculate that, isn’t Hawaii further away from the Europe factories compared to main US other states?

Hi everyone! My CA said that he would be more than happy to source your hard to find pieces when you come down to Honolulu. However, he would appreciate a two week notice so that he can try and source your items. You're welcome to text him when you get here, but you will be limited to stock on hand. He'll hold for you what they have. He won't have enough time to source your items if you wait. Thanks!

That’s so sweet of you. I will remember that when I go next. I can’t wait. By the way, what’s the Covid rules there? Pcr prior to coming? And I heard masks are no longer mandated?

I’m so excited for you! :yahoo:When are you going? You might be able to get some of the new collections over there at a cheaper price! It will be so relaxing to go there after all these years of Covid I bet. I can’t wait to go on my first overseas trip after Covid too. Do you mind me asking if there are a lot of things we aussies need to fill in or do prior to going? Pcr test and vax? I’m thinking abt going too but not sure abt what requirements there are. Would love to hear your experience.:hbeat::hugs:

The mask mandate expired yesterday. Many people are still wearing them, but it's by choice. If you're traveling from the US there are no restrictions. If you're traveling from out of country you still need to show proof of vaccination and negative pre travel covid test in compliance with federal US entry requirements.
