I have no issues with mine. If someone is experiencing this issue, I suggest he/she take the bag to LV for inspection and remediation.

Curious - those of you that own the Dauphine .. where is yours made? I have a mini and it is made in Italy [emoji4]

Wow I didn’t realize how tiny this bag is!Here is Mini with Métis pochette. Also, a gauge on what fits in the Mini.
The mini is not really tiny. Maybe I’d just call it compact? Here are some photos of what fits in mine. I will get some modeling shots up when I have on decent clothes haha. (The small Sephora bag holds hand wipes haha).
P.S. mine is made in Italy.
FYI - a great tip: I turned the mini into a belt bag by just wearing it on the short setting around my waist!!

My mini Dauphine is actually quite soft and supple!! It looks stiff, but it is not in the least. When you touch the canvas on top, it totally squishes!! 
I want to mention that this purchase was totally unplanned. I actually went in to do a return when I spotted another adorable sort of wallet on chain. I tried to fit my belongings in it, but not even half of my essentials would fit - basically just cash & a lipstick. I don’t know that I could’ve even gotten my keys in there. So I asked if there was anything similar yet larger. The SA brought out several choices, including the smaller one that is a belt bag, as well as something that somewhat resembled the petite malle, but this mini Dauphine had just arrived within the last couple of hours and I loved it!

Today, I tried on the Dauphine belt bag. It’s a beautiful but impractical for my lifestyle. IMO, it’s too delicate to wear as a belt bag. I added the Felicie chain to it and it’s adorable as a crossbody, shoulder bag, or a clutch. I also added a bag charm to the belt for a different look.
This style will not appeal to most people because of the gun holster look. I prefer the look of my LV bumbag, which is significantly less, holds much more, is more comfortable, and more versatile. This is $2620 and the LV bumbag is $1500. I would accept this as a gift but I would not purchase it.

Hi everyone! My hubby bought me the mini Dauphine as a birthday present. I've been keeping it in the LV box eagerly awaiting unboxing it. Last night I had a quick peek, and found dents and scuffs on the glazing on the strap 
I've uploaded just 2 photos, but I've spotted at least 5 dents.
This is my very first LV bag (I have Dior, Fendi and Chanel - none of them have ever given me such issues). Is this defect to be expected? I guess I'm so disappointed because I've not even started using the bag! What can I do?
