Louis Vuitton Cluny or Saint Laurent Sac De Jour?

I’m looking for a medium sized everyday bag to use for errands and work. I’d like something classic that will stay timeless. Would you recommend the Saint Laurent Sac de jour or Louis Vuitton Cluny?

Between the two, I'd pick the SDJ, if the open compartment is not a deal-breaker for you.

The Clunie in Epi leather looks nice, but when I look at it I keep feeling like something's missing right in the middle. Perhaps it's just me, though, I know lots of people love it.

Thanks for your input! I don’t mind the open compartment. Definitely leaning toward the SDJ. I’ve been looking at it for a while and just recently noticed the Cluny.
