Where is the best place to sell an LV? I have one of the great artists bags (The Monet) that I just never use. It’s like new, and I’d like to find it a new home. Advice most welcomed.
The easiest for me is fashionphile as Im able to sell in person since one is near me. With that said there is a Rebag near me now too but I keep forgetting to try them. Usually Fashionphile gives the best quotes but the majority of the time you won't make money selling to them as they buy to resale. Less stress and headache for me that is why I use them. I personally do not like having to ship my items and worry about something happening in transit or the buyer scamming me. Lol

When you get a chance to check out Rebag let me know! I am so curious to hear how they are, I heard a bunch of mixed things so I am curious to hear what you think!

I went to the temporary LV store on 57th street in New York city. I was so disappointed by the experience. The wait was not bad, maybe about 10 mins. We were being moved pretty quick and the wait for a CA was about 15 minutes. I had plenty of time to browse but the CA I got was very cold and not friendly at all. I did not have time to ask for another one. It was my birthday and I wanted to treat myself, not once she asked me how I am doing or explain to me about the items. Not once did she smile. I was hearing another SA wishing someone a happy birthday and laughing and talking. I tried to even strike up a conversation and ask about more questions about the bag, my experience with the color, etc. Anyways, this is just a rant about my experience. I did end up buying because I wanted to use the item on my birthday. That was a mistake. Also compared to the stores in Hawaii, this was such a disappointing shopping experience. It is an absolutely gorgeous store though! Highly recommend visiting it. I also bought some chocolates from the cafe.
Damn! Well, happy birthday nonetheless! You deserve a beautiful birthday. I hope you did something fun, what else did you end up doing? I am sorry about your experience. What was their problem? Do you think it was just her personality?

Have you ever received an invoice with no product price or customer's name on it? The receipt has all the information like all my receipts from the LV store, except it does not have the price of the product and the name of the customer.

No. But my online orders will be sent with client copy of invoice without price on it, but it has my name and address. The email copy of receipt also has price.

Oh yes for sure! You know I've been to Fashion Valley Mall SEVERAL times and ALWAYS forget to go into Bloomingdales to the Rebag counter! Lol. I'm so trained to go to Fashionphile for everything! Smh. If you didn’t send me a message, I would not have remembered about Rebag! I totally forgot about poor Rebag! Lol.

I have used them several times online though, just for purchasing (I never sold with them) and had good outcomes. Conditions were always better then exoected as they don't give you many photos to look at so that always puts me on guard to really zoom in and read the description. I had one issue that turned out ok though. I bought a Chanel bag called Ritz that I was not familiar with and was judging if I wanted it based on their pics and price so I decided to go for it. The bag was initially titled So Glo or something like that. The bag was pictured and arrived with the back section pulled out. I thought that was the style. Lol. As I researched the bag I noticed that back section needed to be tucked in. GAME CHANGER! I was going to send the bag back if I did not discover the back section needed to be tucked in as pulled out, it looked awkward. Also the measurements of the bag was not correct, mainly the depth as it had measurements for the So Glo bag. So instead of a 3in depth as advertised, it is more like a 5 to 5.5 in depth. Anyway I reached out to Rebag by phone re the discrepancies. They refunded me back $50 for the mishap and offered to accept the bag back if I didnt want it, at no cost to me. I ended up liking the bag so I kepted it and got $50 back. They also updated ther E authencity "card" on the bag to reflect the correct name but used the same pic with the back section pulled out. Lol. The 3rd pic shows you how the bag is suppose to be but for some reason it was listed and shipped to me with the back compartment pulled out. I ended up paying only $1,430 due to a promotion and the extra $50 off. That price includes the tax and the $20 shipping fee.

Thank you for sharing your experience! I mean for Chanel that is not bad at all although for me it's a lot to spend at once if it's not rent lol. Is it just me? I usually like to use Klarna or affirm so I feel like I can get more bags lol but in all honesty, you are still just paying for the bag. Which one does rebag use? So you shop with them a lot? I thought they also have a physical store although I don't recall where...

You can imagine the shock when this SA confirmed to me that for the Murakami collection she rang up customers that weren't top tier. She said most of her aspirational customers got most of their wishlist items and her location had plenty of stock on launch date. So now I can see how a VIC client didn't get their wishlist items.

Sorry for the late reply. You can use Klarna with Rebag. Rebag does have store locations. I'm not sure where you are located but you should be able to find their actual locations if you wanted to go there in person. I know there is one inside the Bloomingdales Store in San Diego CA but I'm not sure if it's all Bloomingdale stores. I havent shopped with Rebag alot but have made maybe 7 or so purchases with them and everything always worked out.

I'm in San Diego and my SA said everything is sold out. Perhaps it depends on your location. Hopefully those that really wNt a piece for that location are able to get one.

I didn't even try after I saw a tier to shop. I just went into the flagship store to purchase some of the chocolates this SA started screaming out my first name and this wasn't her regular store location.

I have a dilemma and I always think how easy it is to tell other members to sell their bag when I see the posts if they aren’t using them or hard time selling but this is where I am with speedy B’s . I have limited editions and a mono and I can’t seem to sell them though I never use them. I like looking at them in my closet but they are just not functional for me anymore. Any suggestions how to get past the point and just sell? They aren’t being carried but I can’t seem to let them go because I know I can’t get them again. I don’t think I will miss having them and I can put the money towards something I will use but it’s still tough. How do you get past that point and just sell? This seems silly even as I write this!
