If you have a Kindle, you can download the book and be reading it in 30 seconds. Even the iPad has a Kindle application you can do the same thing. I have both and love the convenience. Go read that book!! It's worth the read, I'm telling you.

Since you are stuck on the exotic bus...

You could always look at simply getting both the exotic birkin and the ring of your choice.

Also if you are really thinking about getting an exotic it would be far wiser to just do some basic research and get it direct from H thus avoiding any additional charges and being 100% sure of the origin.

If i go the Birkin route, I personally prefer to get directly from Hermes.

Ok, I made up my mind. I shall go with a top graded blood red chunky ruby, as close to the Burmese one as possible. Then pick a sparkling diamond setting. I'm leaning towards halos because that's what I love.

I voted for the ruby ring too. A quick google found this http://www.burmesegems.com/home.cfm?pageid=about and I'm sure, with research, you could find something fabulous somewhere.

Obviously an exotic Birkin is TDF (I'm having an exotic fetish atm too, but nowhere near H territory). Incidentally, I don't think the waiting lists here are that long... there are loads in the stores I go to dream!


As for gold - the price has got to peak soon. Then it's all downhill. Someone's just put in a gold-bar vending machine in, I think, Abu Dhabi!

Get the ruby you've always wanted! Would be nice if you'd have some money left to buy a classic leather Birkin as well. You will get more use of the classic leather.
