Lost My Diamond Ring - Need Replacement

  • Get my favorite stone - ruby with diamond halos

  • Get a Hermes exotic skin Birkin

Ruby ring of your design is my vote! A handbag, albeit a Birkin, nah! Or, like already advised, ring and classic leather birkin. I would go for that definitely. Good luck with your decision.

Ok, I'll give you guys an idea of what's inside my ring box:

pink sapphire w/ diamond halos ring
emerald w/ diamond halos ring
pearl w/ diamond halos ring
diamond wedding band
sapphire w/ diamond halos ring

I don't have a ruby at the moment and my round diamond pendant can be converted to an engagement ring if I wish to but I really love it as a pendant. Or I can convert my heart shaped diamond pendant into an engagement ring, but I don't really like that shape.

you could always search for vintage ruby rings with halos...this way you could try to find a vintage burma ruby and aim for the blood red colour. vintage rings can also be less expensive....and then maybe you could buy your leather birkin as well?

I LOVE Exotics and of course you know Larkie does too. I would die to have a croc Birkin. It is the ultimate H bag IMHO. I know Larkie also dreams of having this bag someday. I don't really care for the plain leather ones.

Get from Creatures Delux (not the right spelling); she buys authentic all over the world and was written about in the book Bringing Home the Birken, which you should have read if you really want a Birken. If you have a Kindle, you can download the book and be reading it in 30 seconds. Even the iPad has a Kindle application you can do the same thing. I have both and love the convenience. Go read that book!! It's worth the read, I'm telling you.

^^I LOVED that book and do not have nor do not want a Birkin. However, that book was very informative and incredibly entertaining. A definite 'must read'.

Since you are stuck on the exotic bus...

You could always look at simply getting both the exotic birkin and the ring of your choice.:D

Also if you are really thinking about getting an exotic it would be far wiser to just do some basic research and get it direct from H thus avoiding any additional charges and being 100% sure of the origin.
