That's good to hear, I'm glad the question of ring size came up. I think I'm a 6, but I know I'm at least under a size 7 so our fingers are similar enough where the pics help me see what will look right on me, size wise.

I'm glad you posted the one from the side. I like that the ring isn't super high off your finger yet it actually looks like a band will sit closer than I was expecting. This ring in general is truly a work of art and you got an incredible one. Thanks for sharing! And again, anytime you get a new pic you'd like to share feel free

Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately) I wasn't there when he purchased the ring so I don't know the exact numbers. It's currently insured for a little over $20k but that's also before we receive the valuation documents. In all honesty I think the biggest bang for your buck (for anyone who's interested) will be in the 0.7-0.9 ct range and I think that's why they're so popular.

That does you no good in daily life, especially in a ring where much of the stone is covered by the setting like in this instance. Yes, diamonds will show their warmth from the side, however diamonds pick up on surroundings. If you wear yellow/warm colors, or are in a warmer room, the stone will look warmer. Your normal viewing conditions are from the top and slightly angled.

Oh I can't wait to look now!! Hopefully soon :) I emailed their customer service and a woman answered. She was prompt, thorough, helpful.. I answered and she hasn't replied back in a week.. Should I just contact the site again? She seems flaky

I finally just called the store I wanted to go to and they've been super great. The woman who answered my call initially was very professional yet down to earth. She told me I would get a call from a woman named Mary within an hr. Mary called me about 5 mins later. Was amazing. Got my info, and said she'd have what I wanted to see for me on Monday. Couldn't wait to meet me and my bf. she's awesome and I'm so excited!! Glad I gave up on the other woman

YAY!!! Can't wait to hear all about it. Go with what appeals to your eyes best. There's no right or wrong answer with cushions because there's no set standards for cushions.
