My skin is very sensitive, and tends to be dry, but I still break out (unfair!). The dermatologist suggested cleansing with Cetaphil and moisturizing with Purpose moisturizer, and I'm doing that. But I've always used a toner after cleansing and I miss using it. Is there a toner out there that won't irritate sensitive skin? Thanks for any suggestions.

Check out Sonya Dakar, SonyaDakar.com. She's the skin specialist to many celebs. and came out with a great product line IMO. I've worked in cosmetics for years and it takes A LOT for me to say I really like a skin care line! The ingredients she uses are very good quality and not synthetic junk like other mass produced companies use. Another good one in Jurlique, however Sonya Dakar's line is a targeted skin care line so you can find products for every skin type and need, eg. sensitive, discolored, acne, etc.

Thank you all for replying. You've mentioned a few brands I've never heard of--good reason to post here.

Tammy--I know about Bobbi Brown's make-up, but didn't know she had a skin care line.

Thanks again for the tips, ladies.

Again, thanks for all the help--I appreciate that you took the time to give me some great suggestions. I've ordered a few that you named and will give them a try! I love trying new things, so I'm looking forward to it.

Snowwhite: your dog in your avatar looks just like my son's dog, Mia. She was a rescue and the best dog ever. She passed away recently, but we have many fond memories of her antics and tricks.

Get a toner with Chamomile and Glycolic Acid as the first two ingredients (or at the least, including those two)

That would be perfect for your skin as mine has the same condition. I can't recommend a brand though because mine is bought through an esthetician, but you can definitely still get it for yourself. The titles is what varies; that's all.

Boxermom, I'm very sorry to hear about Mia. It's so difficult to lose our pups.

Bella-Luna is a rescue dog as well! She is a Husky/Rottweiller cross, and a real brat! I love her SO much!
