They had this same bag in different color in Saks BH today. After reading AFF's description and PP's post, I had to go touch it. They're right! It didn't feel sticky at all. It looks like it will only get softer with use. They had ivory and black versions of the tote (and even a smaller size)... i think the red is way hotter!

I guarantee you that you'll be pleasantly shocked at how soft Prada's patent leather is. The first time I picked up a patent bag in NM I was expecting that icky, stiff plastic feel too and was I ever surprised.

Good to know about its softness. What about weight? I find certain patent leather bags to be heavier than the regular leather. Same with the gauffres?
