It was very rushed, but the up-side was it wasn't as crowded and suffocating this time around.

They don't do sales in the boutiques as far as I know. I recommend either Bond St or Sloane Square!
Thanks scarvessandhandbags for your advice. I agree it was fun at the sales but regretted not spending enough time at the scarves - would have liked a couple more as love looking at their designs and colourway. Last year was better choice. Ended up in the shoes for many hours! Tho very happy with my shoes and scarves.

Felt I missed out on some items at this Hermes sale because felt so rushed with the one way system.

Would like to know if visit a Hermes London store which one would you recommend from your experiences?

Also, do they have xmas sales at their stores?

Thanks!
Hermès do not have seasonal sales in store.
Funnily enough I found shopping the sale more leisurely than shopping in the boutique.
There were plenty of staff around to help and I did the whole thing in less than 2 hours despite trying lots of things on.
But then I’m a very focussed shopper so I can shop anywhere at lightening speed if needs be.

Haha I'm the opposite of you....get distracted easily! Yes agree good to be focused so end up buying things you want and don't end up spending ages shopping. It was a very nice touch to have the SA there helping us. Thanks!

The two are @Supersis8 and @eduardo_shopper. I was looking for the report button on Vestiare but can’t find it! If someone has the Hermes private sales email address, then they would may crack down harder.
I think reporting to Hermes is the best option. I doubt Vestaire would do anything about it. I once reported that someone set up a listing using entirely my photos (found on the internet) and VC’s Customer Service team outright told me they weren’t going to remove the listing

I find everyone’s perspectives really interesting. Personally I love sale shopping, both for the thrill of not knowing what I’m going to find ( :yahoo:) and also because I am a absolute sucker for bargains. I won’t buy something just because it’s on sale but if it’s something I wanted anyway, it almost makes me enjoy the item more if I know I got some kind of ‘deal’

Personally I found the 2h slot to be the right amount of time for me. I spent a good amount of time in every section and did not feel rushed. I chatted with some SAs I recognised from boutiques but it is a very different shopping experience than shopping in the boutique. Way more focussed and ‘functional’ IYKWIM? I like to take my time at the boutique, go at quieter times and plan my visits for when I know that I don’t have to be anywhere afterwards. A boutique visit is all about catching up with my SA, discussing what I may be interested in from different métiers, try things on… I probably spend similar or more time per visit to the store compared to how long I was at the sale

They do replenish stock throughout.
There was still plenty of stock just nothing to my taste.
If you have a slot and its no trouble to go you may as well turn up...
You may love something !
Also if you've never been before and buy a scarf before purchasing do check for the location of the 'S' stamp.
I found a scarf I really liked but the stamp was far too visible on the border, now matter how I tied the scarf it was still visible
Thanks for the tip about S stamp on scarves. I had to put some back (scarves and pocket squares) because the S stamp bled through to the front. Had I not known about it I wouldn’t have checked. Managed to get a few lovely things today for myself and DH. Overall a successful shopping day

This Eduardo person is a "well known" PS based in London.
He often posts the most coveted items on his IG account. His audacity is shocking.
It is hard to believe that Hermès isn't aware of his wrongdoings.

Oh, wasn’t aware, till now…! Hermes shld be aware as I understand that the popular styles were mostly bought out during the weekend, and to be able to get 12+ pairs, he must have had a Hermes invite (ie the earlier slots). He looks quite flash from his insta account, if I am looking at the right one. 100k followers!
There are actually a couple of other resellers too, with more items being published as the days go by, some being more transparent abt the S stamp than others. Hermes probably doesnt mind having resellers to clear the sale stock, though obviously these popular styles would have sold anyway. I do wonder why Orans/Oasis/Oz/popular styles in neutral colours are in the sale at all, Hermes cld have easily sold those in store.

Sharing with everyone my loot from earlier today. “Only” 8 scarves/silk pieces! Find of the day is the 90cm Gloria which I was searching high and low for 2 years and there it was, the one and only among hundreds of other 90cm. Kawa Ora cashmere is another special find. Beautiful beyond words. I’m all set for winter!

so I went this morning and there was almost nothing left in 35.
Some were definitely resellers. I saw a women with something like 20 ties and 30 scarves.
Thank you so much!
I am hoping for some Oran but they probably won’t have any.
I went to the NY sale a few years back and they had a very good choice of bracelets but scarves and shoes selection was poor.

Yes I got the 12-2pm slot on Friday. I registered on Thursday and got the confirmation later that evening.
Hi hun, sorry im new just signed up here after doing some research about the Hermes sales.
May I ask where did you register please? I registered to Arlettie on Thursday, but didn't see anything about hermes sale or received nothing. Hope you were able to find a few things.
