I wasn’t particularly impressed with the stock, but I still managed to find a couple of items that I love!

Firstly was the Jungle Love Scarf in 90 silk.

I first saw a Jungle Love in cashmere 140 in orange, but I couldn’t justify paying that much for a scarf, so I was good and put it down once I found the silk ones.

There were a couple of 90s in blue and in black, but I decided to go for the green to complement my Vert Cyprès B35. I’m really happy with this purchase as this print is my absolute favourite Hermes design, and I always missed out on getting one.

I also managed to get a pair of high-top trainers with the big cat sketches (do you see a theme? Lol)

I’m glad I managed to get a couple of pieces, otherwise I would have been really ornery at having to trek all the way to Ally Pally.

Now we're scarf twins! :D

My shoes, silks (50% off) and rtw (60% off) buys from the sale yesterday. No queues for anything. A lot more pleasant experience than last year but the inventory was not as good and varied.

Oops apologies for the huge pics - had already reduced the size!!

Omg these are the exact shoes I'm after! I pray they're still there tomorrow:panic:@thyme Were they £290 and did you see any other colours please?

I had a blast at the sale. It is such a better space, and so much more organised than last year. They’re operating a one way system and the guy guarding the entry from silks to RTW took his role very seriously. Upon walking in, you hit men’s RTW and ties, then the silks and scarves, then women’s RTW, then shoes. I didn’t have to queue at all. The crowd seems much smaller than it was last year. Then again, I couldn’t go last year until one of the final days in the evening.

Some shoppers were SO rude to the staff. Costs nothing to be kind!

I only got a gorgeous cashmere coat that I can’t wait to post once I’m home.

By one way system do you mean shoppers have to move from one section to another and can’t u-turn (eg. Mens RTW then silk only, not mens RTW, silks then back at mens)?

Yes. I wasn't able to observe how strictly they enforced it if you tried to go back from the shoes to the women's RTW section, but the guy between silks and RTW was VERY strict. They had a 'guard' between each section, so I assume they're there to enforce the one way system.

I saw people trying their luck, and failing. So I made sure to take my time as I worked my way around. YMMV, though. But keep watch on enforcement so you know whether or not you can chance it!

Has anyone gotten their confirmation for Friday? I requested the first slot in the morning through the Hermes invite but haven't received anything
I just got my confirmation for Saturday. I think Arlettie is sending out the last batch of confirmations

Thank you! That’s really good to know as I’m notorious for making uturn and changing my mind halfway. Will have to stay til I make up my mind in one section :P

That’s so encouraging to hear that there going to be no endless lines! No 70% off on shoes isn’t ideal but I’d rather pay more than have to wait 45 min to just enter the shoe area. Has anyone seen any resort wear and swimwear?

That sounds like a much better system than last year, thank goodness! Was there a large queue when you left? I was thinking of turning up 1 hour before my slot in case it was like last year but if the crowds are smaller maybe I won't need to be so early.
