Hammock charm and otter charm went back though since I wasnt in love with them (just personal preference)
Lemur keyfob charm is my fave, and a sleeper hit! It's the nicest, best quality item I've seen/gotten so far from the collection. It's made of classic calfskin and the "Altlantic Blue" is sooo pretty. If I was on a budget and could only get 1 item, this would be it. Just make sure to inspect a few before choosing one. The one I received has uneven eyes and the body bend is a bit off center. But overall that's okay imo, not the biggest deal breaker.

Now for some of the quality issues unfortunately:
The color of the otter cardholder isn't very well saturated and you can tell a gray undertone throughout the wallet. There is also mistake in the marquetry causing a dent in the wallet. Hard to see, but tried showing in the 2nd photo.
Then the felt lemur charm as cute as it is, the leaves were hanging on for dear life by like 2-3 threads poorly sewn:

(And not the greatest printing quality imo either) Just a note for those who care if it is marquetry or not! The mini flamenco is also thinner as someone else said (I checked with other flamencos in store)

Will really depend on when you get the “in transit” notice I think, once that happens (when takkyubin has picked up) it should be next day delivery to store. I’m not certain about weekends though, haven’t had a personal experience crossing a Sunday etc

This item would be one satin calfskin item I'd strongly recommend! It's so gorgeous in person and it seems like the wrinkles wear pretty well for a bag so dynamic. It definitely looks better than my own Compact Hammock (in my previous posts).
The marquetry is actually to die for though. Not sure if you can see it in the photo but the black parts of the panda and the tan parts of the tree are suede. Then the tiny texture lines of the tan parts of the tree are actually inlaid in and marquetry as well. The green texture lines and any other line is not inlaid marquetry though.
Super out of my budget and not 100% my style so didn't end up picking it up, but hopefully this inspires one of you to 😉

Is the cardholder printed? I have it and the lemurs feel different to the rest of the wallet and you can feel bumps where the black bits are so I thought it could be marquetry. They are small and it would be very intricate if it was though. I don't think I have any other marquetry to compare. Maybe I'm just feeling different textures of paint or glaze
So unfortunate to find out there are printed motifs this collab! I saw the CCHs in store but didn’t go and inspect them to see if they were marquetry or printed. They looked like marquetry honestly…

I think it makes sense that the flamenco pandas are printed since the leather flexes so much around that area which will make the marquetry pop out easily. Don't know if it justifies paying a premium for it though...maybe the panda-printed lining makes it worth it.
The lemur CCH though is a pretty big letdown, looking at the photos, neither they didn't put any marquetry elements in it, nor special stitchings to make it a more hand-made feel. In my memory, every piece in the Ghibli collab has at least some form of marquetry or custom stitchings on it.

I got the panda hammock online, it was super expensive in CAD (over 6k...) but I love it so much I just yolo bought it 😅
It came in a massive box. Didn't receive a magazine or anything which I thought was disappointing (I wonder if they'd send me one if I ask customer service). There are no loewe flagships in Canada at all so I had to order online.
The marquetry is amazing as mentioned. I was also surprised that the panda and parts of the tree were fuzzy! Such a cute surprise. I hate satin leather like many here, but I also think it's more forgiving on this bag. I think the stiffness will help it hold its shape more so the marquetry will hold up longer over time 😊 overall definitely a splurge but a keeper!!
My only nitpicks are that the box came damaged at the corners (seriously don't get why loewe doesn't invest in better packaging), and the leather on the zipper sticks out kinda weirdly. Hopefully it won't stick out as much after I wear it a few times.
