The problem was really more that Loewe cancelled your order for you, before you could even get to the store. I placed order twice and got cancelled hours later both times.
DOn't think I will stay up howling to the moon regardless of how many castle may be floating by in the sky tonight (1 am... O.o)
I can't wait to get my hands on Calcifer. He's my favorite Studio Ghibli character!
what was the time frame for order cancellations for online orders last year during the Spirited Away collection launch? Like, did Loewe cancel orders within hours or can it take them a couple of days to cancel?
It took Loewe a week to cancel parts of my launch order, their site was also programmed that once you hit a certain number of items ordered (3? 5? i forget, irrespective of returns or cancellations) the system would let you place the order but it'd be an immediate cancellation.
Trying for the small orange calcifer puzzle, which is an online-exclusive so crossing my fingers for that one. If not that, then mini orange or the small black puzzle.
I also contacted a Saks SA who's going to try to order me the small black Calcifer puzzle on Feb 2, it's not guaranteed though.
Do we know if there is a limit for this collection? I was planning on ordering 5 items, but now I am scared lol
Do you think I should split my orders in two?

Same!! I am wondering if I need to split my order and get my partner to do half for me
Going off the website actions last year, splitting your order in 2 won't do anything because once it's hit the limit it's done. Beyond that, I'm actually not certain what the limits are:
Selfridges's product listings say it's a hard and fast 5 before anything else is cancelled.
Separately, my SA told me there's a limit of 5 bags and each bag must be a different type. I didn't ask for further details because I wasn't considering 5 bags. I don't think either rule is really the "four corners" of limitations.
