I agree, my heels tend to slip if they are too large so I buy then snug and they will stretch enough
Thanks Divealicious, that's what I usually do too. But these just don't feel 'right' no matter how I try to get feet used to them, so I think I will be returning them both :( I find that if it's not a perfect match they'll just end up sitting in my closet... The hunt for the perfect (comfortable!) black pump continues!

Maybe you could try a different style? :)

Yes, definitely! Do you have any recommendations? :) They would need to be a bit wider than the Shilos.

I'm not really sure, I own the Shilos which are my favorite pair. Than I have Sabira which I feel run smaller, so probably not that one. And I have one pair Sledges which run larger. So maybe the Sledge will fit you better :) Or if you prefer hidden platform, Harper :smile1:

Hi ladies,

Encouraged by this post I ordered the Shilo pump in 35 and 35,5, as I was unsure of my size. Now I just can't decide which ones to keep or if I should return them both! :/ I was wondering if they stretch when used since they are patent leather? I can get my feet into the 35's but they feel a bit uncomfortable and too narrow, the 35,5's are also feeling a bit too narrow and if the leather stretches I feel they will become too big lenght-wise.

Lol didn't mean to write such a long post since my question was only that do they stretch? :D
Is the shilo round or almond toed? i find with the sybil almond toe, the ends keep slipping out but not for the round toe sabrina on me...i think its cos the front's too narrow for my wide feet so the back pops out frequently. my sabrina's are also patents and they tend to give slightly in the front...

btw, has anyone tried the Bury range of shoes? am tempted to try the new lower heels but worried since pointed-toes dont usually work for my wide feet and returning shoes are really costly for international shipping! Any help is much appreciated!

Thank you ladies, I will try the Sledge then!

The Shilos are more almond toed :smile1:

I'm so happy about my new L K Bennett shoes and I just wanted to share my purchases with you... the Florete in Black Patent and the Faith in Deep Purple :D

The purple Faith shoes have a black patent heel and black patent trim with buckle. Please excuse my black tights it's really chilly here today! Also the detailing on the front of the purple Faith shoes will show up much better without black tights!

I've been looking for the perfect pair of dressy black court shoes for absolutely ages. Then I also fell in love with the deep purple colour and decided to keep both pairs as it's very rare for me to find a shoe that fits comfortably and that I can walk around in. Although the names of the styles are different, the shape of Florete and Faith are identical when compared against each other underneath. The heels are also identical in height and width. I find the heel height very comfortable whilst adding enough height to look dressy.

I found both styles true to size. I am usually a small UK 5 / EU 38 and got these in 5 / 38. As a comparison, the Sledge in 5 / 38 were too big for me.

Florete shoe twins! ;) It's my go to black court shoe.
Love the Faith too! Great purchases for fall :smile1:

I have a question on sizing for those of you who have LK Bennett shoes. I am usually between a 9 and a 9.5, and I am not sure what size to get for patent Sledges. I wear a 39.5 in most brands (CL, Manolos, Jimmy Choo), and I know patent doesn't stretch like leather does, but I don't want them to be too big. My foot also is fairly narrow. Should I get a 39 or a 39.5?

Hi,
I'm usually a size 38 and recently bought 2 other styles of L K Bennett shoes in 38 and they fit perfectly. I tried the Sledge in 38 and it was too long on my foot so would have needed a 37.5.
So from my personal experience I would go for the smaller option. Hope this helps... :smile1:

Go for the 39. I also wear 39.5 in CL and Choo, but 39.5 is def too large for me especially in the Sledges.
