They say rain is a sign of good luck on wedding days and birthdays. Maybe the same can be said for surgery days as well!

Warm sunny day = a blessing
Rainy day = Heavenly blessing

I am in quarantine hotel now, waiting for Saturday 19. And scheduling my consultations with my translator on the whatsup, I could not connect to kakao, my silly head ;)
Thank you, dear Sarahdomm! I believe in these positive signs! I am happy portions in the hotel keeps me always hungry - losing weigh, but its too small food..

I believe after this trip I will stop for a while my plastic surgeries fever and start living without saving money for it..
I am doing 1) DES revision 2) lip lift (if I finally make up my mind as I am still thinking about pros and contras - do not want scars under nose, upper lip immobility even for 2-3 months and most scary deeper nasolabial folds) 3) facial fat graft + chin filler...

Definitely think about Pros and Cons. Definitely talk to the Doctors/Specialists about concerns and ask to see their before/after results. Scars are unavoidable, however they do heal. Depending on how your body handles them. I've had open rhinoplasty and the scar under my nose was completely gone in 5 months. There is also ablative and non-ablative laser that can treat the scar-depending how deep the scar is. I would imagine if the surgeon does a good job then scar will not be that deep.
I also want to get my lips done. When I see before and after pics of Korean natives and its posted for rhinoplasty or eyes, I look at their lips. I can see that they had some work done to their lips, but it's gorgeous work. I wonder where they got it done. I'm convinced there are some local clinics similar to Goldenview that specialize in lips and just the locals know about it  idk.

If you're already in Korea, and you are able to stay for a while, get everything you want to get done (with good judgment and critical thinking of course) Girl, I dont know about you but over here gas is almost 6 dollars per gallon! If what they say about inflation is true I want to get work done before prices everywhere rises!

Many years ago I have read a legend about one Egyptian pharaoh who was so highly pleased with the plastic surgeon work who made her face look younger and refreshed that she gave him her most precious favorite ring on top of the pay for his job.
I understand the situation with inflation and prices for gas. I have seen the long lines for gas before leaving Florida for Seoul, SK.
Beauty always costs money :-).
I will definitely think twice before scheduling surgeries.
Now waiting for my translator's researching results. She mentioned Goldenview has good reputation among locals for lip lift...

What is the lip lift supposed to do ? How does someone know if they need it?
To avoid repeating experienced members of this forum I would highly recommend you to read the first page of the theme "How to go from 50+ to 20+..." by MissOrange /https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/how-to-go-from-50-to-looking-20-with-plastic-surgery-rejuvenation.964094/ / where she in details describes the facial changes while aging... paragraph 4. describes the philtrum lengthening. She also kindly shares her picture there of the result of he lip lift.. Very beautiful result btw!

can you please share what was the recovery??? I have researched pictures before/after: the change looks subtle on some girls while drammatic youthful on others on women of different races.. I am now thinking/brain-storming myself a lot while sitting in quarantine hotel in Seoul shall I do this kind of surgery or not. One PS told that due to my high mongolian cheeckbones structure, it is recommended not to do lip lift as it will result in deepening my nasolabial folds, and giving the opposite effect. Korean girls has much flatter faces vs mine, therefore they will benefit from lip-lift surgery, but not my type anatomy.. And now I am trying to predict if I can regret this surgery afterwards...

Recovery was terrible. With Talei, the recovery is long. It's the way he cuts or something. Dr. Mascaro in Florida told me Talei has been doing something new with the muscle work in the middle. I wore a mask every day for two months. No one can really tell you how a lip lift will look on your until it's done. Everyone scars differently. I am getting a revision with Dr. Mascaro this year. He is not going to try and improve the scar I have. This time around, I am not going to do any lasers after the procedure. Some girls think the laser makes the scar worse. Do I look better with the lip lift? Yes. Is that scar worth it? I don't know. The scar is so front and center that I still have issues with it. I have done other procedures and the scar is nothing like this.

Did you have the lip lift from Talei revised by mascaro? Are you happy with it? I’m searching for a lip lift dr but korea surgeons are too subtle it seems

I have reached my wits end with US lip lift doctors, and I am learning certain clinics, such as Hyundai, specialize in lip lift/philtrum reduction procedures. Hyundai also tells me they do muscle and skin. However, I cannot find many long term results, and I'm paranoid as ever.

Has anyone gotten a lip lift in Korea? Have the results lasted? Is it worth a shot, or should I still stick to the US?
But why? The US has great drs that do lip lifts than korea

My revision is in August so I am still waiting. According to the other girls I have been chatting with, Mascaro is best with the scar.

have you had your revision yet? if so how did it go?

Hey! What got you frustrated with lip lift docs in the US? I am currently searching for docs as well!
I recommend Miguel Mascaro. I sent one Koreans forum-mer there but she said he was too conservative as she wanted more teeth show. So I guess you should state what you want. Here is another Korean girl's results with Mascaro

Dr Gary Linkov, NYC but one person on PF said his waitlist for liplifts are like 6 months or more

I also like Dr Almonte as he pushes the envelope and does really short philtrums, like this one below
