Also, I think the alex speedy looks great. Its a bit large for me, but its a gorgeous bag!

Well ladies, the third time is not the charm. My small tote came today and though the size is lovely, there is no zip top closure as stated on the LP website. Instead, its magnetic. Drat! I needed the top to zip closed and was thrilled at the description that it did. Too bad, she is going back. Oh well, I'll be back to watching the LP website for more spring bags to be introduced...

Well shoot, at least you got it in way that's returnable.

I totally agree with the sentiment - more cash to spend on spring bags!

I checked the Dylan Shoulder on Ideeli and the two zippers are on one pocket. That's different from the way the fall shoulder bag had the layered pockets, each with their own zipper. I like the layered pocket look much better.

Baghag411 let us know how you like the Alex speedy. I ordered the Alex tote in black should be here today!!! I cannot wait to see it I was thinking about the speedy but was not sure if it is a only handheld bag, I need to be able to put it over my shoulder that is why I got the tote.

I just received my Alex! the leather is beautiful however it seems a bit large to me...not sure why I know it is smaller than my RM Nikki I think that I'am not use to the long double handles on the Alex...I kinda wish I would have gotten the speedy but do not know if the straps would be too short.

OMG soo frustrating!!! no I cannot reture I got it from Aster Alice and with 40% off you cannot return it. Oh well I guess it will be a 297.00 beach bag!

The way the sales come and go, it is indeed frustrating! But, before you turn that gorgeous bag into a beach bag, show us some pics! We'd love to see a few modelling pics - carrying it both ways... we'll give you our opinions!

Well I like it...I just do not care for the long straps but I guess that is how totes are...I just wish I would have gotten the speedy but who knows I'am not sure if the straps on the alex speedy would go over my shoulder. I love shoulder bags just not too long of straps. I believe there are pics of it already on the PF.

mystique- you might end up liking this bag. I never liked black bags... never ever.... UNTIL I saw Kristin's black Alex. That's a game-changing bag for sure.

Riry, thanks that makes me feel better and yes I'am going to give it a shot but I do not really have a choice...Don't get me wrong beautiful bag I just wish it was a bit smaller and the straps were not soooo long. I'am going to wait a bit to use it, I will keep it as my summer tote. It will look cute as a summer casual tote with jeans and flip flops here in San Diego. Kinda summer here now 80 degrees!!
