Ladies help please!! I'am torn between the black Dylan or the Alex...I'am ready to get one but torn. Which will be better and look better for the spring/summer days wearing sun dresses and jeans w/ flip flops in in Sunny San Diego?? Help!!!

How important is hardware? The black Dylan will have gold or gunmetal and the Alex will have silver.

The Dylan I'am looking at has gunmetal...I'am not a fan of gold hardware at all. Help!!!

I think the Alex is bigger than the Dylan? Is that correct? If so, how big of a bag do you want?

I thought they were the same size...I do like big bags I have a RM Nikki and a Botkier Kasper. I just want to know which bag do you ladies like better and which is better for the casual summer days in San Diego.

I have only seen the Dylan irl. I own one in concorde. I really like it. I guess if I had to choose between the two, I would say the Dylan. Of course, I have never seen the Alex irl.

They are just about the same size. If you are more conservative, go Dylan. If you want a little edgier, go Alex. I use them both!

Thanks sooo much!!! Thats is what I kinda thought, The Alex has a bit more edge than the Dylan and I like the shiny silver for summer!!! That is it I'am getting the Alex.You guys rock!!!

I sold my black Dylan because it was too dark. There was very little contrast between the leather and the gunmetal hardware.

Get the Alex. Kristinmcd posted great pics. She should get commission.

I will be getting the Alex! The bright silver is better for me cause I wear lots of silver!! Thanks to all of you for your help. I will let you know what I think of the Alex when I will get it...I have to wait til Friday to order.

Well ladies, the third time is not the charm. My small tote came today and though the size is lovely, there is no zip top closure as stated on the LP website. Instead, its magnetic. Drat! I needed the top to zip closed and was thrilled at the description that it did. Too bad, she is going back. Oh well, I'll be back to watching the LP website for more spring bags to be introduced...
