Rhodium plated does NOT mean quality or not made cheaply. All it is is a base metal dipped in rhodium. Rhodium wears off quickly & easily -in fact, coating something in rhodium is a really CHEAP way to do it.
I bought the party girl charm bracelet on ebay & sure enough, the finish wore off after a week. Shame too bc I really like the bracelet. The stones fell out of the little martini glass charm & off the sunglass charm.
Really cheap stuff. I have a hematite bracelet I bought off ebay (authentic, they say....we'll see) & it's fine. I'm eyeballing a bracelet with 'stones' that I love; it was $170 in the catalog! I nearly fell out! I used to sell fine jewelry & if you catch a good deal, you could get DIAMONDS in 10K gold for the same price. Not big diamonds, of course, but still -diamonds set in gold vs crystals set in a base metal....
To sum it up -NOT impressed....
