I like it as a collectors piece and would buy it if I already had the bags I wanted.

I kind of like it! I like the H is taking chances. Not everything will be to my taste (I didn't like the bags last year with the canvas), but this one is fun.
Not loving the colors or patterns. Prefer the old flag bags over this new pattern.

I’m revising my opinion slightly, I would encourage anyone who gets offered to go look at the bag. I was just shown the “R” in blue nuit, blue Brighton and Terre Battue, it’s a Sellier in Togo with insets of Clemence and Tadelakt. The Sellier in softer leather is so beautiful and elevates the bag in my opinion. Rather than being painted, they are pieced and assembled of the 3 leathers and it’s so well done, it’s practically undetectable that they have merged 3 leathers to make the front panel of the bag. The price was $13.3 USD for a 28cm and it had Palladium.
If you love to nerd out about craftsmanship and construction, they are very interesting pieces. It was very hard to tell it was an “R” it was more like an abstract painting. So while it’s still not for me, I do think they are very cool know that I’ve been able to see it in real life!

My SA kept saying how he's very impressed with how they put together the pieces with no stitches at all and it's truly a piece of art. Our store hasn't received them yet but he saw a customer from abroad carried it. I should be getting one but I'm a bit worried about how the placement of the letters could look a bit too asymmetric and could potentially make some of them look poorly done so I have very mixed feeling with the offer and have kind of decided to only accept one specific letter. You praising it is now making me super eager to see it. I hope it arrives soon!!! Are you sure it's sellier togo? My SA pulled out the book and told me it's clemence, which I did think was weird. I've never heard of sellier clemence. Maybe he was too excited about the bag.
The ones I’ve seen did not have harmonious color combos to my eye. I know it’s supposed to be more youthful and edgy but I guess I’m pretty conservative about color. I would evaluate each one on a case by case basis. I don’t dislike it though. I think it’s kinda fun.

It may have been Clemence Sellier, for me it was hard to tell which was Togo vs Clemence so I guessed. I hope you’ll be able to see it, you can always pass- you might love it. My friend thought the combo would suit her but it wasn’t time for a bag. The pieces technique is very well done, nothing patchwork about it. I’m eager to see the other pieces start to come out!
I like the color combo on yours and it even looks great with the chicken!
