YES!!! this season's Happy bags are sooooo gorgeous!!!! I took a quick look recently but because I was in a hurry, I had no time to hand over my card! :D I need to go back to the shop before it runs out! I'm just so torn on which color would be best...argh! Isn't just frustrating when you have to make a choice?

Agree with hipnycmom about the Lanvin bags being sturdy. I too have had my Amalia for a couple of months, but no problems.
Also, my Happy Partage Medium Bag from SS08 has been my everyday workhorse for the past year and a half and it doesn't even have scratches. Mind you, I carry LOTS of stuff inside...like case books, documents etc as well as my daily essentials....my work bag ends up weighing about 10lbs, and my bag still looks great...the only difference is that the leather got smooshier:yes:

I now have totaling 11 Lanvin bags with the oldest one being 5 years old, and I have not had any problems at all......and I don't baby them.

I love the size, the feel of the leather, and the hardware, and the fact that it is a lot lighter than it looks. I also find the chains to be really comfortable. I was wondering if anyone else has this bag and can share any feedback?

I'm a newbie to Lanvin and currently, this particular Happy Sac Shoulder bag has taken my breath away... It's been selling out quickly all over the place, but it does pop back once in a while. :D

Does anyone here have more information to share about the Lanvin Amalia quilted Cabas tote? I'm looking for a very soft leather tote and am interested in this bag, but haven't seen this in real life yet, so would appreciate any details!

1.) How soft is the leather on this bag?
2.) For those that have had this bag a while, how has it fared with regular use?

Net-A-Porter mentioned they are also expecting a denim version, and a rose gold python (!!) version of this around February 2010. The rose gold python version sounds amazing, I can't wait to see pictures of that when available!

I have it in black ad i LIVE in this bag...wearing it as we speak.
Its amazing because i use it with a baby and it has NO marks on it.its been through rain,juice bottles...sticky lollipops....etc..No marks on it,its a workhorse of a bag and at a GREAT pricepoint too

Seriously, even with the lambskin? Did you have to pre-treat the bag with anything?

I hope my bag works out just as well as yours has -- we're expecting our first baby in December this year!
