TIA with Showgirl! I ADORE Lanvin.
I have 4 Lanvin bags(original Kansas, original brass HW Hero, Partage Bag and another from 04), LOTS of Lanvin ballet flats and some clothes.
The quality is unbelievable on everything Lanvin....often times I get disappointed at the quality of high-end designers, but Lanvin is totally different.
Elegant, timeless, chic, edgy and feminine. Alber is a GENIUS!!!!!!!!
I know what you mean. I buy big bags thinking they are great for fitting it all in and end up getting frustrated with my lost things at the bottom. And when I use a small one I cant fit it all in. Theres no pleasing me sometimesI have a Lanvin Globe bag as well as 2 necklaces. It's a purplish violet color with metallic corners and beautiful chain handles. The bag is HUGE!!!! I could use it for travel or wear it to work as a tote. I don't like the fact that its that big and it only has one side pocket. Everything gets lost in it.
I think the quality is outstanding. I have a black Jeanne bag that I use for going out -- it's timeless. I used to have a Kentucky that I ended up selling on e-bay. It killed me to sell it, but it was too large and it was hard to find my stuff in it. But the leather was amazing. I think the Kansas is a more practical size, and I hope to find one for a good price one of these days.
I found my Jeanne on e-bay for a great price because the clasp was broken. I took it to a shoe repair and they fixed it.
Do you think the clasps are delicate/break easily?
The python Kansas is TDF!There are quite a few Lanvin bags at www.annsfabulousfinds.com, which look really lovely (but very pricey as well!)
