Hi there!

I'm quite interested in purchasing 'Cosmic' pumps and 'Quiet' peep toes from Jimmy Choo. There are no JC strore nearby, so, I hope you ladies could help me with the sizing in these shoes. :DD

It'd be also helpful if you could tell something about different materials as well, for example, do JC leather kid and suede shoes strech after a few wear or are the patent shoes snug.

Many Thanks! :D

Maybe other tpfers can chime in...

When I'm not sure about fit, I visit online stores w/reviews, i.e. Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, & Saks 5th Avenue.

Quite a few for Cosmic @ Nordstrom & here's Quiet @ Saks.

I've read mixed reviews on how shoes stretch. So, your personal experiences will be more reliable than the experience of others. If you generally stretch shoes after wearing... then it is likely that Jimmy Choos will stretch too.

GL!

I love Jimmy Choo's. I only have 8 pairs. They're pretty consistent with sizing I find, unlike Louboutin's. My first pair were the Opera Sandals. But my favourite pair would probably be Glenys. My most worn would be my Morse flats and my Biker boots. I would actually say that Jimmy Choo heels are more comfortable than Louboutin's but Louboutin's are so much more sexy. Will post pics soon :)

hi all,

I posted in reference thread but noone replied yet.

I ordered 2 sizes of the Patriot wedge. they dont come in half size which I am not sure if unique to this style.

I am a true size 6 and is a 36.5 in italian brand shoes like chanel, christian louboutin. I am a 36 in prada though.

so anyhow, I ordered a 36 (5.5US) and a 37 (6.5). First is a tad tight but looks gorgeous, and the other is loose but a bit more comfortable since its not tight on the toe box. Which one do you girls recommend I keep? I am also eyeing the t-strap cork wedge which does come in half size. Do i just get those instead?

Thanks for your help!

Go for comfort or you won't wear them! I usually size up in Choo wedges. For some reason they run smaller than my normal Choo size. If the 37 is too loose and slips around, I'd personally get the t-strap. I just like how much easier it is to wear a shoe with an ankle strap instead of a slide.

What do you mean by tight vs loose & comfortable?

If these are shoes you plan to wear often, some women recommend going with a slightly tight shoe. When they start to stretch out, they'll feel better. Later, when the shoes stretch even more, you can add inserts.

Since the pitch is so high, I personally, would not feel comfortable wearing a shoe that was loose. However, since you describe the loose shoe as comfortable, you can always add inserts. But, if you tend to stretch out your shoes from wearing, you might not be able to wear these for long, before they become too lose to wear comfortably.

If neither fit appeals to you, pass on the Patriot, and go with a different pair that fit better. If 36.5 is your TTS for designer shoes, I'd stick with 36.5. It is unusual to see a shoe listed without half sizes, but that does occassionally happen.

I love my Choos! I find them extremely comfortable and they fit my giant feet (or so my fiancé says, in a joking matter, of course) perfectly!
I only have 2 pairs so far:
Pheonix Patent Leather Espadrille Wedge Sandals in Black
Pebbled Metallic Leather Mary Jane Pumps in Champagne
