Is the greymop close to onyx or not at all?
If possible, could you please post a pic of the grey mop magic pendant next to an onyx 10 or 5 motifs?
I am trying to see how it will look to combine the greymop magic pendant to the 5 motifs onyx bracelet in one necklace.

Hi! I’m aware that this is an old thread but I thought maybe you still haven’t found the answer to your short chain. VCA sells this chain, I presume people buy it to wear with the perlee bead necklace which doesn’t come with a chain

First post! I have been reading this forum for months. All of your collective wisdom and encouragement towards each other is what a jewelry lover needs in her life.
I am looking to get a single Magic pendant. I’ve narrowed it down to between:
the MOP,
Grey MOP,
Onyx (not sure I could pull this off when worn doubled); or
Guilloché.
I need a VCA fairy godmother to tell me what they love about their choices or regrets/wishes that they went for something else.
Some background for you to paint a picture, I found the guilloché earrings too blingy for me for daily use. I opted for the vintage hammered gold as my first purchase. My second purchase was the 2 motifs magic MOP dangle earrings. I then got a sweet 16 necklace, and my latest purchase was a tigers eye 5 motifs bracelet (I again passed on the guilloché version of the bracelet because in this situation, even the 2 models in the store showed signs of wear).
I do not typically wear my pieces together for fear of Alhambra overload. I mix and match metals and some days I gravitate towards classic elegant pieces, other days I’m feeling more rocker chic and layer my wrist and neck (more is more) and other days I’m channeling Cardi B with my iced out Cuban link chain and gold bamboo name hoops. Jewelry for me is art and a way to express my moods.
Please flood me with your wisdom, pics, and two cents.

Any of the yellow gold magic stone pendants would be good. I personally would wear mop (spring-summer) or onyx (fall-winter) the most. If you want to add some color, the carnelian and blue agate are beautiful. I wouldn’t add gray mop yet, personally, since it wouldn’t go with either of the earrings having pink gold. The problem right now is that they have a short supply of everything, so you may have to wait a few months to get what you want.

That is gorgeous. Could you please share the specs and the chain length? Also, are you wearing the chain doubled in some of the photos?

Hi Maya, this is the long magic Alhambra necklace in YG with white mother of pearl. In the second and fourth pics I’m wearing the chain doubled, in the third I’m wearing it with one loop around my neck and another loop with the pendant. The chain has 2 stations in addition to the clasp at the end so it is adjustable (ie when you wear it long, you can potentially wear it at 3 different lengths). In the first pic I’m wearing it one station away from the clasp (just shy of the full length). Hope this helps.
I feel like this may have been answered earlier but couldn't find it. I've been spending more time with toddlers than usual and haven't worn my magic pendant in a while and can't remember how to double the chain *facepalm*. Can someone please remind?
