You have to put it on and then loop the chain though the bale a second time. If you loop it through twice before putting it on, it will not go over your head.

My SA showed me but I forgot.. I believe he took the pendant off.. Folded the chain in half, threaded the pendant on, and put it on me and clipped it around the loop somehow. He said it's easier than trying to double it around your neck after you put it on.
It’s amazing how you can always learn something new. I have been wearing VCA for so many years, and I double the magic chain in the old-fashioned way, but I am always afraid that I will drop the ends of the chain (and the pandant will fall down) while I am putting it around my neck. Your way is much better. Thank you.
(To OP, the “old fashioned way” is to take the end of rhe chain around your neck again and loop it through the bale a second time and then clasp behind your neck).

I think my first VCA piece will be a Magic pendant. I have reveiwed the sizing information from the website that indicates that magic sizing is around an inch. However, from prior posts there is an obvious size difference between the magic pendant that is fixed and those on the bale. I am assuming the magic on the bale is about an inch (because that is the photo on the motif size guide). What size are the fixed magic pendants? Or was there a name change somewhere along the line and now all magics are about an inch?

I have the WG MOP fixed magic and GMOP magic on the bale. TBH, they look to be the same size.

There are a number of "special edition" magic pendants that are smaller than the Magic with the bale but larger than vintage. They are specific to location (HK, Ginza, Vendome). See p. 1 of this thread for some pictures of the location specific pendants.
