Just want to add that this beauty was made in the 8th week of 2021 which means it still has the physical date code tag right before LV switched to microchip (March 1st 2021). This makes me so happy for some reason:girlsigh:

Hey all! Has anyone here bought a Mini Pochette from a reseller / 2nd hand?
I really wanted to score one in DA to complete the trifecta, but the news of it being discontinued crushed any hope of being able to find one in-stores or online. So, I'm thinking of turning to resellers... if you have paid a premium for one, how much higher than retail was it? Wondering if ~$100 above retail is reasonable.

where did you hear the news of them discontinuing the MPA? do you know if they are discontinuing the regular pochette too?

Notable users like Foxylv (instagram) confirmed it, and so did LV concierge when I emailed to try and place an order on the day it came out they were being discontinued :( I think you'll find a thread or two about it if you search on Purse Forum too.
Haven't heard news about the regular pochette in DA being discontinued, but the Key Pouch is also no longer being produced in the DA print.

As far as I know, DE and Monogram items are not being discontinued at this time.

Thank you for the info! So it's only the DA specifically...I thought it was the MPA style in general being discontinued...phew

Not sure exactly when, if recently, this was announced but @_vee was able to order a DA MPA from the concierge if I'm not mistaken (sorry to loop you in like this @_vee )

I only tried to order the DE but had no problem about a month ago (then it took about 3 weeks for mine to arrive).

Have to say, I rarely see DA being sold by resellers in MPA or the Cles or the PA for that matter but maybe because I haven't actively look for one in DA? Best of luck in your search to complete your collection :heart:

FYI- for DE and Mono in the MPA I generally see them being sold avg $150-$200 above retail in Canada if it's in almost new condition and the more used one are being sold for MSRP...personally I can't stomach that price. Even the current MSRP is pushing it for me hence I pulled the trigger to buy it before another price increase happens but I think only you can answer what is reasonable for you if you know what I mean.

If canvas MPAs were discontinued I don't know what I'd do with myself!! The new empreinte ones are cute but goshhhhh canvas is just so classic. :(

I've managed to find a seller who is letting her brand new one go for $100 CAD above retail, although it was manufactured at the end of 2020. As of today I think I'm going to pull the trigger on that piece because I know the FOMO will eat me up long-term and I'm personally not a fan of the Hollywood-themed Christmas Animation DA MPA that's potentially coming out this year. :doh:

It's definitely hard to stomach the current prices of MPAs on the resale market, because the retail prices themselves are already outrageous! But I don't want to be kicking rocks in 5 years wishing I'd picked this piece up now. Hopefully I'll have less trivial things to kick rocks about by then :lol:

I support this decision *cough cough enabling* lol

Just think of the $100 as taxes assuming there’s no additional taxes with this purchase of yours :biggrin: I had to pay over $60 in taxes where I’m at so $100 isn’t too too bad.

Do show her off once you get it! I’m currently loving mine:girlsigh:

Came here to see if there was any further confirmation of the DA MP being discontinued... Nevertheless I ordered one from Fashionphile this week!

I specifically chose one from 2007 because imo the canvas from that era is just better quality, and I have a damier azur wallet that I received in 2007 and it's in amazing condition.

I now have a trifecta of sorts : damier ebene and azur, and a monogram canvas MP from the 2014 Xmas animation. Plus the bicolor empreinte because, well, it's stunning. :love:
