Short Story:

If you have a 2020 DE mini pochette, I could use a super quick favor! The date code tag, is it matte, and is the back brown? Thanks in advance! :)

Background:
About three years ago, I got pickpocketed and lost my damier ebene mini pochette. Tears for years...I loved that little pochette. I was finally in a position to replace it, and purchased off Yoogi's. At first, I was like...this isn't the same at all! Then I learned about the changes in canvas and leather. I missed a lot during my ban, lol! So I have only one question before I cut off the Yoogi's tag...for the 2020 DE mini, is your date code tag matte, with a slightly rough brown back? Thanks!!

Mine is like that as well and I purchased from the LV website.

Hello Everyone! I'm new to the club! I just got my mini pochette yesterday! :) I was super excited but I wanted to get your feedback because there were 2 things I was not sure about

1. is the piping design supposed to match up with your bag?
2. canvas on the right side does not match up as perfectly as on the left side. is that normal? I've noticed that on some of the pictures posted, the alignment of the canvas matches more closely than mind does. do you think this is ok? or should i try to exchange it for another one?

Congratulations on your mini pa!! :dothewave:

The short answer is - no, it is neither uncommon nor abnormal for piping to be off.
The canvas patter itself should be more or less aligned but by no means I would ever expect that to be spot on perfect either. All my PAs and mini PAs vary, some match up more, the others less. My 14y old pochette accessoires damier ebene is quite a bit off line in places and they say that back in the day the LV quality and attention to detail was so much better. That makes me assume that even back then these minor things were expected and acceptable.
Enjoy your mini pa, it looks perfect to me!

Hi! Congratulations on your new piece. I am curious where you are located and how you were able to get this. Was it in a store or did you stalk the website? I am hunting for one in DA. TIA!
