My new 3 mini pochettes have arrived today. There are two issues that I need you gals opinion please.

1) Mini Pochette Azur: the date code is week 51 of 2019. Its quite old. I am worried that it’s a returned piece. The leather tab looks old and the canvas colour is very dark compared to my PA azur. I am considering return this piece. Is it normal to receive a 2019 piece now in April?

2) Mini Pochette DE: the corner is pushed inward. I have 3 other xmas mini pochettes and none of them have that issue. Anyone has this issue with yours one? Should i return this one too?

Can’t help with the first question, but as for the second question: I don’t think the corner dent is uncommon. Both my mini and bucket pochette have the dent and I’ve definitely seen it in photos of pochettes on eBay, TPF, etc.

Some people in the stalking thread have mentioned tightly stuffing their pochettes and leaving it overnight (or longer) to help smooth out irregularities in the canvas - maybe give that a try and then decide whether to return? Personally, the dent doesn’t bother me and I would probably keep the piece since they’re so hard to come by!

Thank you for giving your opinion. I will take your advice and will stuff some socks or tissue paper inside to see if it helps with the dent. The dent bothers me a bit :D I agree that it's a hard piece to score. If I return this time, it may takes a few more months for me to stalk for another one.

Congrats! It's normal for the dents in the mini pochettes, mine were like that, softens with use. As for the DA mini, I've seen some smaller slgs aren't exactly the same brightness. Not sure if it was a return but I received a new Pochette Metis with the date code the end of 2019 I was shocked that such a popular piece was sitting somewhere so long. But plastic still on the front lock and looks and smells brand new. It's up to you if you aren't happy, return and you may get another some time.

I got a Mini Pochette DA last month with the same date code. I don't have any other DA pieces of my own to compare it to. I find mine similar in shade to your MP DA. I don't mind the darker shade because it eases my mind in regards to wear and getting dirty.

Im not sure about the azur canvas as I only have 1 piece with that print but I also received my mini pochette in mono, MIF 41st week of 2019 and I received it in march :) Also i’ve been stuffing it with some socks inside to help with the denting but I don’t really mind it.

i'm finally able to join this club after months of stalking the website! yay! lol. I am sorry in advance to ask such a redundant question. However, is this normal for the pull to be this large? (Never owned a mini pochette, sorry for the ignorance!IMG_0906.jpg IMG_0905.jpg IMG_0904.jpg )
