Tried a DIY fix on the curling tab on my preloved mini pochette and wanted to share the results!
Someone else on TPF used this method on the tabs of a different bag so I thought I’d give it a try. All I did was take a wet paper towel and evenly wet down the tab so the color looked uniform, then flattened it underneath some textbooks until the vachetta seemed dry. The color seems mostly unchanged, maybe be a tiny bit darker if anything but I don’t mind it. No uneven watermarks (so far). I’m curious to see how long the effects last.
Unfortunately I didn’t think to take before pictures specifically for this, but some of the original eBay listing photos and pics I took for the authentication thread will give you an idea.
