I have LOVED  Atlanta since I have been here. It's a whole new world to me to be like, HMMMM, I think I'll go look at Coach, do I want to run to Perimeter, Phipps, Lenox, or Mall of Georgia? LOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEE to have so many choices less than 15 minutes away. If only I was done with school (4.5 years down, only 1.5 to go!) and had a full time job maybe I could afford to buy a little more.

At home its almost 4 hours round trip to get to Nashville (nowhere near as good as Lenox) so you have to plan a whole day for shopping.

Hey have you tried the GreenHills Mall in your area, I was in Brentwood at Xmas and saw a nice coach store in the mall.

Yes, I have been to Green Hills and it is by far the nicest mall in Nashville, and I believe the only one with a Coach store. There is also an outlet in Lebanon, not far from Nashville. Green Hills also just added on a lot of nice stores and I haven't been since then, so it may be better than the last time I was there, but I can hit 4 Coach stores in Atlanta, all of which are very close to me!

I'll always be a Tennessee girl, but I just love me some Atlanta Coach shopping.

^^ I found that article when I did a search too! Someone in the comment section said that department stores can mark down items that are no longer available in the boutiques. I don't know if that's true but it would make sense to allow stores to mark down items that have gone on to the outlets. Maybe one of the SA can tell us about the flagship stores? I can't find much info either.

I can't find a listing of their flagship stores, but I did find this to be interesting.

BW 50: Coach's Split Personality

Apparently their policy of large retailers not being able to discount the products have changed....Nordstrom has Coach on their sale tables all the time. :confused1:

Very interesting article. I did notice how it said Department stores don't put things on sale which we all know is wrong. Even more interesting is that the Avearga age of a Outlet shopper is 45! I thought it would be early 20's.

So it's true! :wtf:

We got our new floor plan and legacy is being shipped out to be condensed to the larger flagship stores (think chicago, NYC, California, Hawaii, Scottsdale, AZ etc).

The items will still be available but will NOT be going to outlets anytime soon. We really found this odd because we never had a chance to carry natural, pond and the khaki/white combo.

So, it's confirmed. The items can still be ordered of course, but just won't be as readily available!

The next time all stores will carry it again is august I believe for the fall Legacy collection. They also plan on making just "Coach Legacy" stores around the US for just legacy bags, accessories, shoes and wearables :)

i was soooo sad when i found out today

but it was somewhat expected, they did state they were intending to have 50 "legacy" stores...that started out as "rooms" but i guess it's just store now.

for those in the bay area don't fret because the store on Post&Grant is one so legacy definitely can still be brought in the store as well as ordered online.

Where is Green Hills? We drive to MS every Easter and always stay in the Nashville area, but we always go to the Cool Springs Mall, My daughter loves it there, is Green Hills better? thanks

^^ Green Hills is more upscale. I go there each year when I go visit my mom. They have a Sephora, Loius Vuitton, Coach etc. We ate there at Cheesecake Factory and I had a blast staring at all the gorgeous bags being carried!

ETA: I wouldn't say it's "better" just different. I'd go to both! LOL!
