This is difficult! I think Cognac stands out a bit more whereas Mahogany is darker and more understated... Would probably go for Cognac if I had to choose (but take this with a pinch of salt as I'm more into blue/red/purple than brown/black)

Thanks so much for posting the pic and your opinion! I know you are the duffle queen! I know mahogany seems to be pretty hard to find now. One showed up on the bay and I snatched it up. I guess if I find it doesn't work for me I can gift it or sell. Cognac is still everywhere. Just thought it gets a little too red-brown for me. Also since I have mint...I would now have chocolate and I love chocolate mint! Ha ha.

I think you could dress up the mahogany with different color tassels, etc., more than the cognac. I like too that you don't see it very much. I think it will go with more colors of clothes too. Look how gorgeous it looks next to that emerald in tnsweetness's picture!

Is it 19896 or 19894?
I got sellers telling me 19894 is large. Is that correct? Thanks.

Hi! I tried to figure this out...hopefully you already have. But I did not find a definite answer - I am almost thinking the 19896 is the large. With the regular duffles the higher # is the large. (Regular 19889, Large 19893).

Thanks! I am excited to get it and decide. I hope the leather is like the mint duffle I have - very soft and smooshy ;-) Plus - Mahogany would not show marks as much - at least I would suspect that would be the case.
