Hi!
This is my first post here and I am excited to be joining with a pink scarlet duffle that just arrived from JAX today. The leather on the bag was very soft and the interior lining is khaki. Unfortunately, the strap and bottom of the bag were scratched and had black marks so it will be going back. I had also recently purchased and returned the silver/light khaki (IG) duffle as it arrived with a huge scratch on the front. Both of these bags arrived with no wrapping except the dust bag. According to CS today in JAX, Coach is now removing all wrapping prior to shipping. I am hoping to finally get a duffle in good condition!

The photo below was taken outside around 7pm and is true to color and is contrasted against my fuchsia double accordion wallet.

I didn't know coach has such a nice pink! Now pink scarlet is on my radar!
But it's a shame that it's flawed with scratches, I hope you will get your perfect duffle soon!

That is sad about the scratches. I hope Coach comes to their senses and starts wrapping items better for shipping. I've had to return many items because of damage caused by poor packing.

But actually I find pink scarlet more lovely...Probably will get a wallet in this color if there is any.
Anyway, I'm happy with fuchsia. I hope the bag will be shipped to me in good condition!

I haven't seen the pink scarlet IRL. I didn't buy the fuchsia duffle at first because I thought it might be too bright but once I got the wristlet, I loved the color. I have a Henri Bendel tote in a bright pinky red so I'm afraid that might be too similar to pink scarlet. I hope your fuchsia is in great condition.

It's never enough to have more pinks! Think this is my 5th pink bag but all in different shades of pink. And after this, I think I'm done with pink.

Sigh...It's crazy how sometimes certain things just can't get off your mind.
U keep thinking of the bag in the color u like, pondering u should get it or not.....
Anyone in the same boat as me now? :'(

I am thinking of the large champagne duffle. It's something that is hard to come by.
Not sure if it's worth the plunge. It's driving me nuts!

Oh dear - sorry to hear about the scratches and black marks! Are you getting a replacement for both the duffles?

I definitely get that - although it's currently with the dark plume/navy colorblock saffiano tote (so much so that I'm actually contemplating buying it from one of the Coach stores in London where there is a fair bit of mark up over Coach in the US)!

The champagne duffle is lovely though!

I only have the regular sized duffle, but I remember seeing the minnie in Macy's not too long ago and it was tiny! Not sure about the large... But there is now one more size of duffle which is the new east-west duffle...

Here's a picture of the regular sized cobalt duffle versus the large size. I much prefer the regular size. I rarely find the need to carry the larger sized one. I don't have the minnie version that is currently out, but I have one of the older style 4148, which I think has pretty similar measurements. (It may actually be a little bigger). It is what I'd consider a small bag. I've included it for comparison. And to make things more interesting, I threw in a picture of the new east/west duffle. It's basically the regular sized duffle with the top chopped off. I love it.

Love your duffles - such lovely colours! :smile1:

I really like the look of the east-west duffle - not seen one in person yet but it looks like it's a fantastic size. The problem I sometimes have with my regular duffle is that there is too much space for things to get lost in, so the east-west duffle seems perfect for that!

Is the strap for the east-west duffle the same as the one for the regular duffle?

I have the same issues with my regular duffle. All of my stuff fits perfectly in the east-west duffle and it still has a little slouch at the top. The straps are a little different. The east-west is a little thinner than the regular and about 4 inches longer. I'm finding that I like wearing it both with the strap doubled and with the strap longer. For my regular duffles, I tend to only wear them with the strap doubled.
