Not that I can tell, but my furniture is mostly dark (blacks, browns, blues) and so are my clothes!

I wonder if I got a fluke bag (especially if you didn't notice any color coming off with conditioner! It was really noticable on my white cloth last night).

Maybe you did get a fluke. It seems very odd that you would have such a substantial amount of color coming off. I used a white cloth and piled on the conditioner and had absolutely no color show on the cloth! In fact, this bag seems built like a tank! I was worried about scratching (I'm pretty rough on my bags), but even that is minimal and buffs right out with the conditioner.

Does yours seem darker than others you've seen? Maybe the dye was more saturated or something? I can try to post a photo of mine later to compare if you think it would be helpful.

I'm in! Here's mine! Cognac, Black, Black Cherry, Carnelian, Ultraviolet, Cobalt, Juniper, Chambray, Champagne, Sunflower, Periwinkle and Fuchsia!View attachment 2122274

LOVE ALL YOUR DUFFLES!
I see your love of HAILEY transferred over just like mine did!
I have 11 duffles now and 1 Molly...which I am keeping tags on just in case I see the regular Graphite/Berry duffle somewhere that I can grab.
I LOVE the wide strap on the Duffle, it is so comfy on the shoulder. And the colors are TDF!
Congrats on your beautiful collection!
I still have 8 Haileys and have gotten them out several times to part with but just can't....yet. ;)

You could be right- I'm not sure that my boho looks darker than others' bags (they all seem like a pretty dark, rich shade of chocolate IMO).... but maybe it is super-saturated? You're a sweetheart to offer posting a pic of yours.

I almost want to keep this bag just to see what happens next (scientist in me). Plus, again, I think the style of this bag would allow for a certain appeal with wear... almost like a unique patina (maybe I'm crazy for thinking that. No. Make that, I AM crazy for thinking that, but I've been purse-crazed for years, so this psychosis of mine is nothing new! :roflmfao:)

Here's my beautiful boho baby at work this morning:

It definitely looks the same color as mine, not darker.

Good grief I love this bag! If I were you, I don't think I could part with her either. She is just too yummy. And I agree with you...I think this leather will only look better and gain more character over time. Gorgeous! And how could you possibly part with that strap and tassles??? :p

I just am in love with the duffle! At first, I resisted. Wouldn't even try one on. Well, then you know what happened. I tried one on and BAM! The love bug bit me ! After that, any love I had for Hailey just disappeared and now they have all gone on to happier homes now!

Yes...I had resisted for a while as well and then went to Macy's and saw the Tourmaline (25/20 off) and that was it!
I think some of my Haileys need new homes now too!

Okay... so. I have a question about color-fading issues with legacy duffles. Particularly, the chocolate boho duffle.

I received my boho the other day, and went about conditioning it with apple (my usual routine). I noticed that a light (LIGHT) application of apple, applied with very light strokes, resulted in a noticeable amount of chocolate dye coming off on the soft cloth I use for all apple applications.

The only other bags where I've seen this degree of noticable dye removal with conditioning were my teal sabrina and cherry sabrina... both of which I still own, with full knowledge that these bags are known to have color-fading issues at the corners (I accept it as a probable future reality and only wear these bags when my outfit demands it.... but love them so much I couldn't bear to part with them).

Out of sheer scientific curiosity, I gently rubbed an extra-soft kleenex over the leather on my boho today and came away with another light dose of dark brown color (so it's not even a matter of using a conditioner... though the care card says it's fine to use conditioner). You really can't see any noticeable fading on the bag itself after conditioning.... but I was a little anxious to see so much color removal with such minimal provokation.

To those of you chocolate boho duffle owners out there, have you noticed any unusual fading at the corners or on other parts of the bag once you wear it for a bit? I'm not sure that it would be a deal breaker for me, but I like to know what to expect.

Frankly, with the casual, vintage vibe of the boho duffle, a little fading may not be a bad thing.

All the same. TIA!

I just used CPR leather cleaner and conditioner on my boho and no color came off on the cloth.

Don't know what to think about your bag.
