Can I use the Cadillac leather lotion and the collonil carbon pro for caviar and calfskin? (I have a caviar woc and mini and 2 smooth calfskin boys).
I have read through threads and some say do not use om caviar bc it can strip the finish?
All my bags are new from boutique, but I was wondering if I should treat them with the 2 above mentioned products for prevention? Also, is it collonil spray first then lotion or vice versa?
Thanks!

I use regular collonil leather gel on aged calfskin 2.55.
Bag was bought new, years ago. So far, so good.
I avoid using collonil waterstop spray on my chanel--does fine on my hermes bags, etc.
No great logic why avoid, but do. Probably would be fine. Just a pain to wipe off chanel chains.

I apply collonil gel, then spray. But is no wrong way to slather on the stuff. Fool-proof.

Do not own caviar, so no help there.

I use the Cadillac leather lotion on all of my bags and it works great. I only buy caviar or calfskin and haven't had issues with either of those types of leather. I don't own any iridescent or metallic bags, so not sure if the lotion could impact the finish on those bags. Last summer I had denim color transfer on a pink woc I carried on vacation and I was able to get 100% of it off by using Cadillac on the bag after my trip. After that I was sold on the product.

I can't speak to the Collonil, as I've never used it, but I LOVE the Cadillac leather lotion. I haven't had any problems using it on caviar, lambskin, goatskin, or calfskin. My first Cadillac use was on an iridescent caviar, and she's still looking great! I've also had great luck removing color transfer with the Cadillac, although it was on my leather car seats, not a handbag. It's magical.

I've noticed there are different versions of the Cadillac leather lotion. Which is the one that people here are using?
I would like to buy some, but I'm confused as to which one to purchase.
Is it in a white bottle or a green bottle? Does anyone have a photo?

This is one that I use most often--Cadillac Select. It makes lambskin feel like butter, and I find it's also removed color transfer from jeans.

The green bottle is by the same company, and is also good, but I like the Select a wee bit more. It's interesting, though; I think the more basic one (green bottle) works better on LV vachetta.

Which one? Select or the green one?

What color are your lambskin flaps?
