I think that at those kinds of prices...it's utterly ridiculous.

If you're talking $250 a month...hang on to that money..save it up for a few months and you could yourself your OWN amazing designer bag. One that you'll get to keep and will be paid for.

I think that's an awful lot of money to put out every month and have nothing to show for it in the end!

I believe they give you the option to buy it (steal is what it's called), but by that time, you've probably already paid for the bag.

^^^Right. I'm all about the bag. I can't knock anyone for purchasing their bag however they want to purchase. A bag is an investment. Not something to take lightly.

I had actually joined the bag, borrow, steal frenzie back when it was kinda sorta new...as a stylist, I thought it would be fabulous to rent out the new 'it' bags for photo ops, preview events and parties - when you're not the celebrity, yet you get invited to celebrity events, you have to be able to keep up, and if your photo appears in one mag or website, and then two months later, your photo comes up and u are wearing the same bag, you get kinda teased.

anyway, I wrote a longer review about it, and basically was extremely dissappointed with the quality of the bags, the fact that they were never available, and the fact that even though I was always frustrated, I was made to keep my memebership for the full 3 months which sucked.

anyway, two thumbs down for that - I would rather just be teased or borrow bags from my friends LOL!

Well, some people clearly think BBOS is a great idea. The company has received $12 in venture capital!

Maybe BBOS's success is an LA thing. They do lots of stuff there with fashion that I don't understand.

I mean, have you seen the show "how do I look?" The clothes are really ugly, even the ones Finola wears.

It is a fun show, though.

I think the idea of renting a bag, or jewellery, for a one-off, special occasion is a good one; but I don't like the fact that they tie you into a subscription.
