ITA. I spent the last 6 days in Vegas, and they had absolutely nothing. The City Center store had the worst inventory (or lack of) that I have ever seen. The Encore Hermes store had a couple of croc Toolboxes and a croc Lindy, but other than that, they had nothing. They even played a 4-day game with me over a stupid $700 bracelet. My husband and I will never go in there again after that ridiculousness over such a small item.

Hi Ranag,
What do you mean when you said they had a 4-day game play over a $700 bracelet? you mean they convinced you to buy a bracelet while
making you hope to get you a bag that you wanted, but eventually there wasn't any they could offer? :(
I hope I didnt waste money "building" a profile and won't ever get offered any B or K. Even if I really liked the items I bought, I would still like my dream bag:p

Absolutely not. No one can convince me to buy anything I do not want. I don't play that game.

I wanted to buy a particular bracelet that they said they had in stock on hold for one day for another customer. They said that if the other customer did not come in to pick up the bracelet in 24 hours, I could have it. Four days later they were still jerking me around, calling me at my hotel, and telling me to keep waiting. My husband told them to go pound sand.

Encore messed with me, too. I had ordered a bracelet they said they could bring in from another boutique and ship to me, and it never arrived. When I followed up, no one seemed to know what I was talking about. I was really peeved and told them so, and the manager(?) left me this weird voice mail asking me to call her so she could explain all the circumstances. Um, no. You said you would do something and dropped the ball. I was politely annoyed. This needs no further explanation. Let me say that Crystals has been AWESOME to me; Encore, I am underwhelmed.

I am heading to Vegas for business and have limited time to shop. I am trying to make my 'plan of attack' before I arrive to make the most of the few hours I will have. I understand there are a few H stores in LV. Any opinions on which one would be the best to go to if I am looking to get a medium sized picotin?

Any and all thoughts would be greatly appreciated!:smile1:

Thanks in advance and have a great day.

Since most of the stores are open very late (untill 11 I think) if you have a couple hours at night you really could hit them all.

It depends on where you are staying but last time I was in Vegas for a work thing I stayed at the Palazzo. This was my route - Take a cab to the Crystal shopping center, go to the H there. Then take the skytram thingy to the Bellagio (takes about 5 mins) and go to the H there. Then you can either take a cab or walk (about 15 mins) to the H at the Wynn. :smile1:

When I was there the Crystals and Wynn had the best stock but then sometimes the Bellagio will be better if they just received a shipment. I think it really depends on the day.

Good luck and have fun in Vegas!

I recommend calling the 3 stores ahead of time to inform the SA on the date of your arrival so they are able to set aside the items on your list. Crystals and Encore has the best stock.

Definitely call ahead. They are very used to the tourist crowd so they would possibly hold something for you if its already there. Ask them when they get their shipments. They will probably tell.

After you hit the Bellagio location go to Olives restaurant for lunch and sit on the patio overlooking the fountains.
Devine!

Two weeks ago when I was there, Crystals has the best inventory on bags and they had a MM Picotin in Tosca on the shelf.
Because traffic in the mall is slow, it is best to hit the mall first before going to Bellagio. The Bellagio has the worst stock because they are located in the lobby and have many walk-ins. Calling them ahead of time doesn't seem to help because unless you've been there a few times and they recognize you, they will not hold any stock.

Sometimes I don't understand why they are so worried that the stock will sit around if they end up not getting picked up. If H bags are so popular, they can sell it anytime so what if they hold the item for two days and it was not pick up ? It is not that they cannot turn inventory fast enough.

I'm going to Vegas, la, and San Diego at the end of next week and the entire week after that. Does anyone have any tips on scoring a birkin (preferably) or Kelly in those areas. Not interested in buying a bunch of stuff I don't want to get one (I may by a scarf or bracelet but that's it). I found my first birkin on the shelf but I don't think that's happening again lol.

Vegas is sad nowadays even though they have three stores but hardly any stock. They like to play the same games too and when you ask them about the B & Ks, they said they are taking 'wish' list instead of 'wait' list so go figure.

Good luck on your hunt during your trip.

I heard many walk-in at the BH store asking for Birkin and the answers are, "No, they are for the loyal customers....." If they know you are tourist, they just just tell you No. End of the story.

Ya Vegas isnt really birkin friendly. I asked last time I was there while I purchased a couple of items and the SA said I can add you to my list so I gave him my name and number but even that caught me by surprise. I told him I can fly down if you ever get one for me, but him calling me isnt very likely. Beverly Hills and SCP are also off by a long shot to score B or K based on my last trips there. Not sure about San Diego as I have never visited H there. Good luck, you may find something else you really like!
