My experience at Hermes Bellagio is always stellar. I'll have to say that my SA there gets the least of my business (due to shipping policies) - but he is meticulous about calling when he gets something in that he thinks I might like.

I got more goodies from him without "playing the game" than anywhere else. I do think that their stock hasn't been as plentiful or varied lately though. He always has one or two special items held aside for me when I call him and tell him that I'm going to Vegas.

i have to agree with you on this one...

recently went to all 3 LV boutiques, and my favorite BY FAR was the bellagio location... i was helped by a lovely male SA (wonder if it's the same one?) who even offered to look up items not in their store and see if he could do a charge send on them. he even cleaned my silver CDC ring while we were at the store!

city center was the largest, but it felt "colder" even though i had a very nice young female SA helping me there as well...

my least favorite of the 3 was encore - smallest location and snootiest service of all 3... they would not let my DH in with a drink and told him he had to stand outside with it, or sit at one of the tables... well, you can imagine the outrage... we are used to being OFFERED a drink at all other Hermes boutiques we go to (be it water or champagne). needless to say, DH was NOT thrilled and so i couldn't leave that store fast enough.

p.s. we were definitely not acting like drunken fools at encore either. as a matter of fact, that was DH's first drink he had just purchased from botero, the restaurant directly across before going into Hermes :p

Carlinha: did you find that the amount of merchandise and selection varied widely between the three H boutiques, or was it fairly equal? Thanks for your insight!

I visited all three stores this past weekend. All had a decent amount of shawls--many more than my local store. I managed to find the Graff shawl at The Encore location. When I left they had 2 more of the jaune d'or and 1 encre left. No CDCs at any locations. City Center had a black with phw KD, blue roi and graphite KDT, Havana croc Jige, karos on soufre, blue de Galice, rouge casaque, and orange. Bellagio had 2 SO Kellys in croc--in a shade of blue and another in a shade of red and a Lindy on display (not sure what color). I wasn't paying too much attention to handbags cause I was only interested in Kellys, Birkins or Constances which they did not have.

All the SAs were nice and the ones that I purchased from said to let them know before coming into town next time so that they could try to assist me in finding my wishlist items.

OMGGG - they had a soufre Karo?? :( Awwwww...

I think the karos are nice as makeup bags, but at the price of $850-900 is quite steep. Are they really worth it? The shawls I love and never thought I'd spend that much but am addicted now! 😳

Yes, truly I don't quite understand the pricing for the Karos...but I guess they are thinking in the grand scheme of Birkins and Kellys type pricing!!

I think Vegas always tends to get the good seasonal colors because they are a tourist destination!

it seemed that city center had more because it was larger... then again, not sure if it was just the layout of the store...

is that the price for the GM now? the PM is a little cheaper no?

IMO i think they are definitely worth it! i mean you don't need more than 1 GM and maybe 1 PM, so i think they are good investments. they are not like shawls/scarves, bracelets, etc. that i think you need to collect a ton of different colors. just choose one in a color you love and stick with it for at least a few years. they keep everything organized in your bag. if i am carrying items that could spill, etc, i would definitely rather have them in the karo than just laying out in my birkin. the karo is lined with a plasticky material that is water resistant also.

Oooh! I might run into you. I am headed out to Vegas as well on the 17th. Is there a TPF nod and wink??:winkiss:.

Lol. No secret handshake that I know of yet but that doesn't mean we can't come up with one. I will of course be carrying miss b black with ghw that I recently scored because I refuse to let it out sight. A little OCD I know but I waited a yr and a half!

That is good info! I will wait for the perfect color/size...I've seen bougainvillea in the PM but would prefer a GM first. The GM is $900 and PM is $850. :smile1:

If you see a gorgeous supermodel, Naomi look-alike, its not me!!:D.

I haven't decided exactly which bag to take yet but chances are that I will be carrying a black Kelly PHW that like you....I also haven't let it out of my sight since I got it last month.
So if anyone one sees a strange black woman sneaking glances at you, please put me out of my misery and say hello!!!:hugs:
