Unfortunately, I don’t know of anywhere, perhaps not even Paris, where 1:1 will get a QB. 1:1 * simply isn’t close to being competitive. Extenuating circumstances aside like being a high net worth; famous; otherwise connected; or influencer
Even in this economic environment, which one might think is easier, it has been reported that Hermes is up 11% in the Americas this year. That would still indicate higher demand
ETA: most of us view prespend as yearly, and favoring local clients or those who come in more frequently. In actuality, prespend in the US probably shifts based on clientele (including likelihood of strong, continuous, upward spend).
Even if an SA has allotted a potentially promising client a bag at low prespend earlier in the relationship, it is sadly not a guarantee that is indicative of future offers.

Corp policy as per my local and FSH SAs: they cannot consider a customer a client unless they make in-person visits at least twice a year. So lower frequency (given your geographic proximity) may be a contributing factor.
