Large Marcie Satchel as "work" bag- big enough for 13" Mac Air Laptop?

Hi Ladies!

I'm totally in love with my Large Marcie Hobo, but the hobo shape means it doesn't quite work as a "work" bag.

I've been searching for the white whale of handbags! I need something big enough to hold my laptop and a work folder or two, but that has enough slouch to not seem huge when it doesn't have those items in it.

Could the large Marcie Satchel be the bag?!

Then of course, there's the issue of color...

Work bag is always a tough one, I dont have one to play with but i am sure a fellow tpfer does

....hmmmmm hold a laptop? I have my iPad in my hobos and my satchels. Can you go to the store and try??

Size-wise I think you can fit a laptop in there. But the marcie shape is a bit round on the bottom so I'm not sure about fitting a laptop in there and have the bag hold its shape. You can definitely try it at your local store.

Let us know how things go. Otherwise, I think the marcie will make a wonderful work bag.
