Lapis butterfly ring

I have the lotus ring which I love, but for some reasons, I am always sporting the flowerlace ring. I don't even know why. The lotus ring is really adorable and I actually had to fix the hinge once because I play with it too much, and the edges are pretty pointy that I don't get to wear it very often.

I do wear the butterfly (I also have the matching earrings) but it is a smaller ring and I mostly wear it during trips where I still want to wear some jewelry but not something that looks too big to attract unwanted attractions. I wear the flowerlace and sometimes the bird of paradise ring, and I also have a cosmo ring. Thats why I don't really wear the pink butterfly as much as I want to.
Thanks Swisshera, for the explanation. And what a gorgeous collection of BTF rings. I think u have collected ALL the stunners from VCA. I am trying to get wearability out of the lotus ring a la Phoenix123 and wear it to the grocery store and stuff, but trying the rings on side by side made me realized that the lotus is too heavy for me to use frequently. The points like u said would likely bother me. So, the butterfly is edging ahead. But will try both on again in my sz before making a decision :)

Thank you all for posting these wonderful photos! I can’t go to VCA as often as I would like and would often rely on photos from here & my SA. The lapis look so gorgeous and I really like how saturated it looks! I love butterflies and I am leaning towards the earrings. Just not sure if I will wear it as often enough as the yellow sapphire and diamond pair, for example.

I have the butterflies in full pave, the lotus and a few other btf rings. I have to say whilst I adore the lotus, I get more wear out of the butterflies. The lotus is a lot chunkier and flashier, so I find it hard to sport daily. However, if the lotus has been on your wishlist for a while, get that first. Reason being it’s a bigger ticket item and with all the price increases over the years it has become more and more expensive. I think if you got the lapis butterfly now, you’ll still yearn for the lotus. Also the lapis butterfly feels more trendy and whilst it is very wearable now because of your bracelet, you have to ask yourself whether you envisage sporting it years from now. Lapis is a beautiful stone. However for me, I’d choose a lapis Rose de Noel over the butterflies. But that’s just me. For some reason I’m not so into the alternating stone trend. I feel it will just be something now but not forever, if you get what I mean. But of course everyone is different and you may beg to differ. Have you entertained the idea of a full pave butterflies version?
