I want to see the lapis butterflies IRL but just could not squeeze any time. Thanks @Alena21 and @BBC for the photos and mod-shots. They are simply stunning. Maybe the butterfly will come in turquoise some day [soon] since turquoise is still making an appearance in the sweet line. 2 pair of sweets would be sufficient to make 1 butterfly! Wishing here ... 
The ring was $20,500.

You wear the ring so beautifully and the blue is simply stunning. Did the ring make it home with you? IMO, that matching bracelet makes the lapis butterfly/YG pave even more alluring.
I am after a pair of earrings but I cannot decide what pair. A week ago, I was so sure it was going to be malachite 3 motifs, then I got distracted by the modshots posted by @BBC and @texasgirliegirl of their GMOP 3 motifs in an old post that was bumped up. And now that lapis butterfly is singing to me like a siren. Maybe it will be out of stock when I arrive at the boutiques.

If you get two diamond butterfly earrings they will compliment your btw the finger butterfly ring.
For the three motives earrings I have both the green/malachite and the Mop/onyx ones and I get more wear of the latter.

I am needing a lapis ring to go with the lapis that I have and they butterfly seem to go with it especially adtaf seeing your picture. I am just not quite sure since I already have the pink butterfly and not wearing it that much. Did you bring her home?
Hi! I have not pulled the trigger. The lapis butterfly ring happens to be my size whereas the lotus ring was a sz too large (I need 47). So next to each other the butterfly was especially feminine and charming and the lotus looked kinda clunky. I didn’t want to make a decision without seeing the lotus ring in the correct sz on me, so I’ve asked to try them together hopefully. I hope VCA can transfer the sz 47 lotus for me to try so I can make an informed decision. Based on my visit to the store yesterday, I would have picked the lapis butterfly! But my hubby said I will always want the lotus if I don’t cross it off my list so I’m trying not to make any hasty decisions.
Can I ask swisshera, why u don’t reach for ur pink butterfly ring? Is there any wisdom u can impart?
I have the lotus ring which I love, but for some reasons, I am always sporting the flowerlace ring. I don't even know why. The lotus ring is really adorable and I actually had to fix the hinge once because I play with it too much, and the edges are pretty pointy that I don't get to wear it very often.
I do wear the butterfly (I also have the matching earrings) but it is a smaller ring and I mostly wear it during trips where I still want to wear some jewelry but not something that looks too big to attract unwanted attractions. I wear the flowerlace and sometimes the bird of paradise ring, and I also have a cosmo ring. Thats why I don't really wear the pink butterfly as much as I want to.
