Went to the sale today. They still had a great selection of scarves, a couple of belts, lots of RTW, some shoes, some hats, some wool gloves. No garden parties though...I was hoping to score one at the sale!

OMG! I've coveted a spinnaker! That's one of my favorites! Why can't they have scarves at the SF sale! If ONLY I was down south for the sale! Id've snatched one of those babies up!

You SoCal gals get MUCH nicer selection than us SF gals! It's all RTW up here!

That "Spinnaker" was in the most intense Caribbean cw with aqua and orange and white, maybe also lime green. Quite a statement. Don't you have a friend who can run in a grab it for you?

Nope. Although, that WOULD have been a brilliant idea! Next time, I'm totally going to ask a pal of mine to scope it out for me! Actually, those colors you described don't sound like a "me" thing. WHEW! At least that's what I'm going to tell myself, LOL!!

I went to the sale late Saturday and ended up getting that "spinnakers" in the color combination of pistachio green/orange/white/turquoise. I liked the burst of colors and nautical theme of this piece.

Thanks royceag. That is also what came to mind of using it with...a beautiful white linen shirt.

I went to the sale the afternoon of the 1st day and there was still a HUGE selection of scarves and ties, as well as a lot of RTW. No crowds at all at 3PM that day. I got 4 silk carres and 1 small silk/cashmere pochette. No boxes or tissue (and two were to be gifts - too bad), but at $213 for a scarf, it was a good buy. My SA told me that brought in all the sale scarves from all US stores - what is not sold will go on to the NYC sale.

Hi India...welcome back and glad you enjoyed you vacation and get togethers...but...are you telling me we are getting leftovers from the west coast?

I think the BH stores had the first go on scarves & ties. What didn't sell was sent to NY for their sale. My SA said they switch around from year to year.
