It's off topic but this isn't exactly a hopping thread so I'll share my thoughts.
I think they just do sales in major cities to clear merchandise from about 5 seasons ago. If they have them in smaller markets they seem to be tied to relocation/new stores. They don't seem to be on any kind of markdown schedule like the other brands but they also make fewer items and have less stock. Plus I suppose they feel their stock is more timeless and therefore doesn't require regular clearance. I was looking at a RTW piece and my SA checked stock in the US as I wanted to wait on it and there were only 3 pieces in the US and 12 globally. Some pieces really are "small batch". Glad to hear you've been enjoying KoP, I think they're great!
This makes sense, thanks! And yes, my experiences at KoP have been nothing but top notch!

So I have an sa question. I have an sa that I've worked with on a couple of occasions. She even went out of the way to get me a hard to find item. Since then I've emailed and called her but she hasn't returned either of these. In fact, I've emailed her a few other times and she never responded. What is the protocol on changing sas? I don't want to offend her but I can't work with someone who isn't responsive. I also don't want to talk to the store manager about this. Can I just start working with another sa? It's been 6 months since I last worked with her. I also know what days she is off. Perhaps I can pop in on one of those days? Would that be so terrible? I hate confrontations. Thanks in advance for any input!

it's odd to not get any response in six months, are you sure they've received the messages? My suggestion would be to call, usually the SM or assistant answers the phone and let them know you have had requests not replied to and is there a better way to get in touch. Then if the SA isn't responsive this last time, it's reasonable to ask if someone else can help you.

Honestly, this store has a close/small staff and if you go in and try to work with someone without addressing it-they're likely to look you up and ring up sales under the previous SA anyway so rather than thinking of it as a confrontation-think of it as solving a communication issue. If you can't get a happy resolution with the SM/SA, the store will help you sort it out but I think it's best to try the SM and see if you can't get a reply you're pleased with before trying to switch SAs. It's not as simple as just asking someone else to help you while the SA isn't there, you'll still be the first SAs client unless the SM intervenes and even then-the new SA might not get credit for the future sales.

I say this as someone who frequently doesn't receive messages due to various technological issues, specifically with my old fashioned voicemail notification system and my spam filter often hides the messages I need while I'm bombarded with offers of assorted pills that will "enhance" things for me...

Thinking about visiting KOP in two weeks, what's the likelihood they offer b or k for walk in customers? I'm not from the area, just heading to philly for a wedding.
It used to be that you could ask and they would tell you if they had any but that seems to have changed. When I went 3 months ago the sa hinted at buying stuff/being a regular customer. Too bad I really liked that store but I don't visit philly often or play the Hermes game anymore. I got my 1st Birkin there in 2011 as a walk in and I had my pick of several b/k including a box Kelly.

For those of you who frequent the store who do you enjoy working with? Do you have any recommendations? Thanks!

I dont visit often but I’ve worked with Dawn. She was very friendly from the first time I met her. She even sent me a post card after my visit with her. I’ve emailed her with my list of items (no b, C,or K) and she was pleasant to work with. I have a Hermès store in town but the service is hit or miss.

I’ve also worked with Dawn! She’s very nice and helpful. I’ve also emailed her several times to check stock and she’s shipped a couple things to me. I highly recommend her!

Hello all! I’m planning a shopping trip to kop in the near future. I’d love to stop by H and pick up some sneakers and scarves (36 inch and losanges) there. How is the stock generally with these types of items? Also is it at all possible to purchase a b or k without a history at this store? My mum would love a bag for Mother’s Day. I have a history at another store but my mum has none at any store but she also wants to pick up a few things at kop. Also would love a rec for an SA. Is Dawn still there? TYA [emoji1374]

The SAs at the KOP store are all lovely and will be happy to help you. I was looking for sneakers recently and they had none of the display shoes in my size. They had to bring them in.

IDK how successful you would be asking for a B or K. My sense is that it will be very difficult if not impossible, but you never know and I would ask. And they seem to have a nice selection of other bags.

Yes, Dawn is still there! She’s wonderful to work with!

As far as purchasing a B or K, I would think it would be very difficult to purchase without history at the store but it’s always worth a try. The stock levels seems to fluctuate. I’ve had experiences where they have limited sizes/colors and sometimes they have everything I’m looking for.

I’ve worked with Antonia since I started shopping there. My husband and I go in maybe once or twice a year but she is always wonderful and we chat and look at stuff for hours. Whenever they haven’t had something I’ve wanted she checks every store to find it for me. I find their scarf selection vast, but that is from somebody who only has a few staple pieces. I really enjoy the store it’s self since they moved. The mall is nice too! I agree with the above commenter. They seem to have stock of B/K/C but not sure if you would get one just walking in. But you never know. I am too indecisive to choose, maybe I have a fear of commitment. Ha! I’m sure Antonia thinks I’m crazy. I find everyone there great. Even the security guards! Good luck and let us know how it works out!
